Custom Scourge Heat Lances

Hey guys, I'm gonna build some coven-esque scourges with varghesit wings and wrack masks. But I need to make myself 4 Heat lances. I have lots of splinter rifles, ravager kit bits, and wych bits. Any advice or ideas are appreciated! They dont need to look identical to the original as long as they are consistent in my army

You can pick up the twin-linked heat lances from Talos kits pretty cheaply from online bits places. Chop them off and tack them onto another weapon (Splinter Rifle maybe?) and you're on

What's the base model going to be?

I bought a bunch of scourge bits. So they will Be mostly scourge

If you have the talos kit (as ynneadwraith said), you get 2 heat lances. Cut up the Haywire Blaster, and you can make it look good enough for your 4th lance.

Maybe use the Wrack Hexrifles as a base, to have actual wrack arms, or Liquifiers, nobody uses these weapons anyway, you could also replace the whole arm with a Heatlance prosthetic.

I already ordered the bits, so I don't want to grab any more (shipping really gets you) but yeah, they are all scourge, except the face will be bald kabalite heads with wrack masks, and have vargheist wings. If I buy a talos, I want to include it in my army in some way. I might try gray stuff and splinter rifles, and maybe use some spikes for the tip of the lance in some way

Aren't Vargheists a little on the large side? Grotesque-sized...

I ended up using a dissy cannons from the ravager kit. The wings are drying, used the larger ones like Devilish but I cut the top layer off to try and shrink its profile. Thanks for all the advice guys!

I took the barrel off a dark lance to make a blaster conversion and magnetised the barrel from a jetbike lance so i could add 5 pts to my list with a blaster.  18" range with a long barrel and scope.  Cheeky accessories ftw.

Neat idea must have been fiddly magnetising a barrel...

I should mention our no swearing policy though. No problem as you've just arrived, but just so you're aware
