| t's been a while since I've been on this forum so I thought it was fitting to start posting again by showing my main army: Pure Haemonculi Covens! I don't get to play the game very often but I am an avid hobbyist, Converter and painter. Haemonculi were my first 40k love even back in 3rd edition so over the years I have update my force with tons of new body parts and pieces I've collected over the years. A lot of these models are either built from whatever parts I had laying in my bits bags or form old undead/dark eldar boxes. The collection is a loose alliance of Haemonculus Covens led by Fabius Bile (Counts as Haemonculus) and The Prophets of Flesh. So on to the Carnival of Flesh! First, the raiding party's sadistic Cenobites and masterminds: More to come!! | |

| A nice little collection of lunatics. The tech priest conversion is really cool. | |

| Thanks, Scrz. Here's a picture of my latest little project. My Urien Rakarth Conversion: (note he still needs a little fleshy green stuffing) Also a sneak peak at my Covens' minions: the Wracks. I will have close up pictures of each wrack soon. My main mission for this army was one thing: each and every model will be its own unique individual from the lowliest wrack to the most horrid pain engine. Also hopefully I'll paint Urien Rakarth in decent time. | |

| Lovley conversions! I have to ask what model is used for the really tall thin Haemonculus? I think his name was Cronthysit Viirak of the Prophets of Flesh? Is he still for sale or is he gone? | |

| Thank you, Rhivan!
Viirak's base model is actually a war machine figure... I can't for the life of me remember the exact model (I got him a few years back) but I think it was a Cephalyx or Cephallix? (I'm not sure about the spelling). He was a minor Conversion with a lot of green stuff in his back and arms to make him more fleshy and a few Dark Eldar Wyche Bits. | |

| Love it and the warbands shot of horrible gribblies is really really cool Always been a fan of Fabius Bile. It's my personal headcanon that he's a surviving member of one of the lost legions. One of the emperor's traits that's missing from the Primarchs is that of the biomancer/scientist, so it makes sense that one of the missing Primarchs specialised in that. After experimenting wildly on his marines to the point they were unrecognisable his legion was purged. Any remaining initiates/neophytes that were recognisably human were mind-wiped and disseminated out to the other legions. One of which was our own favourite Fabulous Bill. Just my headcanon, but it fits he's so radically different from the rest of the Emperor's Children it makes sense that he'd be from a completely different legion altogether. | |

| Fabulous indeed you've definitely managed to make them look like a bunch of genetic experiments. Love the contrast between the two armies as well. Really plays up the 'humanity vs the terrors of the universe' feel of 40k | |

| The Blanche influence is definitely strong here. I guess that's why 40k is such a screwed up world - a lot of these creations could just as easily be from the OT of a loyal Techpriest as from something Chaotic. The mecha-skeletons are probably my favourite. I was thinking about an undead fantasy army but this is a much more interesting take on the undead, or semi-dead - well whatever they are - they're fabulous! | |

| Yeah they're fantastically twisted I'd recommend checking out The Green Mechanicum for an example of just how twisted a loyalist Ad Mech army can get similarly brilliant in aesthetic to these twisted gribblies | |

| Thank you all very much! I really love the traditional look of 40k through the eyes of Blanche and Jes Goodwin's pieces and conceptual sketches respectively. 40k truly is the "Dark Ages in Space" so it's only fitting that most factions, whether "good" or "bad" will all be very grim and fueled by horror. Personally the whole idea of Fabius Bile's continuation of the Great Crusade through his twisted eyes is terrifying and oddly noble. | |
