I really like your understated color scheme. I know it's not as impressionistic, but your models remind me of an underwater-themed AdMech army I saw recently (quick search yields pics!).

I did something similar (although less immediately obvious) with my cultists. I like to think that in some cases in our collective dystopia, all kinds are allowed to work together for a common sinister purpose. As such, I love to see anyone doing this sort of thing, but here I think you did a particularly good job of having both a uniform and individuals wearing it. Well done.

I got around painting my 3rd Razorwing tonight, need it up and running for a good old Kin-Strife tomorrow against a Biel-Tan force. I plan to win on causing tons of damage and have air superiority, as I know for a fact I can't deal with my friend's obligatory Wraithknight.

Stunning! The black & white combo is very effective and your line highlighting is top notch. I really like the painted canopy too. Will you be basing it at a later stage though?

It will be based eventually, hopefully tonight after the game, but for the battle it will borrow the base of my Iyanden Crimson Hunter.

Anyhow, started painting on my first 3 Grotesques, should be finished by the end of the week.

I'm currently deciding how I should paint the vials on them. I might go with how I paint the canopies to tie them in with my Kabal.

Those skills.... please me.

I finished the Grotesques, assembling another 3 very slowly alongside 2 pain engines (most likely a sloooooow start on a Corpsethief Claw formation).
I also had a marvellous battle between my Dark Eldar and my Chaos Space Marines (played by a visiting friend), and I might write a battle report from it (but can't remember all of it, it was documented with lots of pictures though).

I went with Incubi Darkness vials and white masks to tie them in with the Kabal.

Incubi darkness.... my favorite of the GW paints. I don't know what it is but it.... pleases me.
