Monthly Vow: February

Well hoody hey folks, it is the gloriously sunny month of February, when the sun never ceases to shine and not a drop of rain will fall in a marvellous blue sky (well here in the Uk this is the case, nothing but sunshine and positivity here for February ) so get your paintbrushes and glue pots at the ready and get pledging!

I will be hoping to finish my Bloodthirster and also a Khorne Daemon Prince.

If however, I manage to afford the new Triumvirate models this month then they may feature too!

Well, seeing as I've frittered away my money on hookers and blow I shan't be getting the Triumvirate just yet...

So, my monthly vow is to paint my Solitaire so I can roll out the fluff piece for that, go back to my Craftworlders and do some touch-up to improve their decade-old paintjob (so I can roll out the fluff piece linking them to the Fracture of Biel-Tan), and paint 5 more Kabalites (so I can roll out the fluff piece of what Khaharkyth's up to during the dysjunction)

It was two days late, but as I type the wings of my VOIDRAVEN are gluing in place. yes, its done! (Two days late for the January Vow).

So instead o having to add that to February, I can add something new. I've still got a list of projects that need to be finished before I can start a new one (as per my new years resolution, so far only broken by getting the PARTS for a new project but not starting it yet), so for February I'm going to commit to.....Finishing my Aspect Host - 3x 5 man Warp Spider units, AND two Deathwatch Razorbacks.

I need slaves so here we go!

I want too:
Paint and Base at least one unit  from the "Blood Doll Coven".
Build, Convert and undercoat a Ravager for  the "Kabal of the Leviathans Coil".
Build, Convert and undercoat a Troupe for "The Last Masquerade".

Daemon Prince of Khorne done. He didn't like his own weapons so he borrowed a spare axe that a Bloodthirster left embedded in some poor sap.

Looking good Count you've managed to get a really rich looking gold colour there. Which gold did you use?

Thank you! It's Retributor Gold as a base, with a layer of Tin Bitz (one of the older GW paints) and a wash of Agrax Earthshade. I then drybrush fairly heavily with Balthasar Gold and then edge highlight with Auric Armour Gold.

Very nice it's impressively blended for so many different shades of gold. Colour me impressed
