In the list I posted here, you kill it with deathknights/scatter lasers and teleport around it until then. You can even throw the autarch at it in melee to kill or tie it up. Against sisters, the autarch would probably kill a squad himself fairly easily. Against a cullexus, just use weight of fire to down him with scatter lasers and small arms fire while avoiding his aura with your psykers.

I faced a cullexus at this event. I killed him and he never did anything to my psykers, which is why I didn't bother mentioning him in the rundown of my games.

So did anyone see that winning tzeentch demon list in action? The one BoLS just posted up. Because, and I don't attend many tournaments, but I don't see how it worked really.

Unless it was using summoning in a spectacular manner than I'm only seeing 2 or maybe 3 units with any real bite and it seems to me if the ruleset allowed for tzeentch demons to become unkillable (2++ rerollable) then a well done seerstar could be just as unkillable while your average eldar list will have a little more bite.

Was it the summoning? It has to be the summoning right?

To clarify, I can see how invisibility and grimoire and the like can make for some unkillable units but did the tournament allow 2++ Rerollable but also nerf the D?

This is the one time where I think D is healthy to the game.

I don't think D weapons were nerfed. Rules FAQ can be found here

No nerf to str D, yes Tzeetch rerollable 2++ saves were a thing (which was the only game i lost in the GT)
The common thing with the demons was to summon Chariotts and screamerstars backed by grimoire etc etc.

Honestly, ITC is a better balanced game than pure 40k, and much less of a crapshoot.

for example, A jinking lynx was able to take out a superheavy chaos tank with 1 shot. I know, because i did it :-)


As for the team... I was able to max all games but one, and that was against nick navanti. So overall, we did great, but did not take first.

Nick's daemons are straight hardmode.

Who? Nick? There were more people than that if you're talking about the GT.

Looking up the results on the adepticon page, it shows he got 9th out of 203 players. Maybe only 106 stuck around for the 4th round or something? There were a lot of drops, it looks like.

Team we were 8th out of 106 (battle points... i dont really care about painting or theme lol)
Nick took first in the GT (battle points)

8th is still pretty impressive. Well done!
