Nice I like the matt/satin black/bronze look you've got very nice

Looks very good. Whenever I try large area metallics, it comes out looking too "fake", even with an airbrush. You did a really good job of it, it looks like the ship is actually made a metal. Great work.

I like the scourge headed crew!

@StackedDeck try these steps 1) base coat dark metallic 2) dry brush highlight all over 3) use a shade or wash all over 4) dry brush dark metallic from step one all over not just edges 5) dry brush highlight from step 2 on the edges. that should give you a better real metal look.

Are those scourges heads a theme? Might be difficult to aquire enough of them. And that's sad because it's looking great!

Oddly I've found Scourge heads to be readily available from bits sites over time.

The wings are a real moneymaker as they're widely desirable for lots of different conversions (and priced accordingly!), whereas the heads tend to sell slower so they can often get a bit of a stockpile going.

Little update

Had a bit of a problem Raider fell and the Rudder broke so I had to break the back end of the first Raider apart and put in a new rudder. Got most of my two venom's painted and a second raider done got the rest of my incubi glued up.

Played a 3 player 500 point patrol mission against Tau and Orks, won with the only units on the board.

Played a Team game 500 points per person DE and Necrons vs Ork and Tau, Won lost all my units but decimated most of the opposing team doing so.

Played Kill team 200 point vs necrons won that too so off to a good start.

As soon as i get stuff done will post more pics
