| Been trying to wrap my head around with the new 6th Edition Rules a bit more using my Chaos Space Marine army. I think now I feel comfortable and ready to use the old Burning Wing army list. Please let me know what you think! (Note: I don't have my the list with the point value for units with me at the moment, but if I recall I have a few extra points to spend) HQ: -Archon Nila'lotha (Count's as Baron Sathonyx)
Elite: - 4 Kabalite Trueborn with 4 blasters, and a Venom with an extra splinter cannon. - 4 Kabalite Trueborn with 4 blasters, and a Venom with an extra splinter cannon.
Troop:
-5 Kabalite Warriors with one Blaster, and a Venom with an extra splinter cannon -5 Kabalite Warriors with one Blaster, and a Venom with an extra splinter cannon -5 Kabalite Warriors with one Blaster, and a Venom with an extra splinter cannon -5 Kabalite Warriors with one Blaster, and a Venom with an extra splinter cannon -5 Kabalite Warriors with one Blaster, and a Venom with an extra splinter cannon -5 Kabalite Warriors with one Blaster, and a Venom with an extra splinter cannon
Fast Attack: -3 Beastmasters with 5 Khymerae and 4 Razorwing Flocks -3 Beastmasters with 5 Khymerae and 4 Razorwing Flocks
Heavy Support: -Ravager with Flickerfield -Ravager with Flickerfield -Ravager with Flickerfield
How I normally field this is my Beastmasters along with the Baron move into close quarters from the middle of the map, with my troop choices providing the ranged support they need. The Trueborn and Ravagers zoom across the battlefield in order to hunt vehicles that would otherwise be a threat to my force. Once again let me know what you think!

| Yawn. Why even mention this list? It's the same internet powergaming msu meta-list that everybody and their uncle bob expouses the virtues of. Are you really trying to have anyone believe you put any individual thought into it whatsoever? I suppose you invented it did you? hahaha! That's a good one!!! I'm sure you win a lot with this list, as do thousands of others. I seriously can't see what the possible purpose of posting it on here could be? Except to snare a couple of noobs into giving you a pat on the metaphorical back, not realizing you dis[layed zero originality in fielding it. If that's what you want then well done, there's one right next post. Maybe you can convince him you invented the concept of building houses out of bricks and putting a roof on them too? Worth a try..........

| Pretty solid list. Very shooty, and covers most angles with the beastpacks for your CC. To be honest, I'm having trouble suggesting anything to improve upon the list idea without disecting it and adding up all the points myself, which I'm not prepared to do at the moment. Would be interested in seeing the point breakdown though. I do like the 125 pt kabalite squads for the venom spam. Very point efficient, imo.
Beastpacks are nice, but I rarely include them in my lists because I don't own any of the models due to $$ price.

| The first assessment was a little harsh but accurate. Its nasty and wont win many friends but if you play in a cut throat environment it will fit right in.
Do you really need that many blasters or the FFs though? There seems to be plenty of room here for some variety and utility without sacrificing much.

Worth a try.......... I bet you're a blast at parties. P.S. I'm familiar with similar lists, but if someone is asking for feedback on how a list will work in 6th ed, I'm not going to jump down their throat for not being original. I'm going to give them my honest opinion of how I think the list will work, which is what I did. I AM a noob to 40k, but I can put a decent list together, and I can show you how to save some energy in your posts, be sociable, and get your point across at the same time. Point made, fewer people insulted, and you get to save a little face and not look so much like a jerk.

| Well in regards to the first comment, I'm sure there a lot of other players out there that rely on a spam of skimmer transports and an even bigger spam of poisoned shots. From my short amount of gaming experience playing Dark Eldar I have seen the effect of not foot slogging around, but regardless thank you for your feed back and opinion on this list.
@BetrayTheWorld: Yes, I do apologize for my lack of points on display, and the fact that I am trying to post a list without it! I only use the Beastpacks like that because I got those from an old Dark Eldar player I know, and when I saw the price to make those squads I thought I might as well field them since I got them for free! I'll be sure to update this list to include the point cost.
@Brom: I normally play against Tyranids and Grey Knights (which is why I like the spam of poisoned shots) but also a mechanized space marine army with an imperial guard allied force for more tanks, so that's why I take that many blasters. I may drop a few and even one whole Kabalite sqaud in order to make room for a Razorwing Jetfigher to deal with flyers, since I'm sure I'll see a couple of them flying around in a 2k point game.

Oh, no doubt. I'd use em if I had em. Beastpacks are awesome. If I ever get a chance to get free ones, I'm sure I'll field them. Speaking of which, if you ever get tired of them, you can retire them this way. I'll even pay for shipping.

| Oh by all means, if I ever reach the point in which I retire them you'll be the first to be told! | |

| why two beasts packs and not just 1 and another blasterborn squad??? Baron can only be with one, and his force multiplier is too good to pass up. | |

| I always fielded two separate beast packs simply because of the models I had, but now thinking about it I do agree: Removing one of the beast packs would defiantly open up some points for upgrades or as you stated another blastborn squad. Thank you for feedback! | |
