List request for returning Player

I can not wait till 8th edition will drop, and want to play a game again.
The people I am playing with generally play maelstrom (?) 1500 points

In my collection are estimated 30+ Kabalite Warriors/Truborn with maybe 3-5 Blasters, 4 Dark Lances and one Splinter Cannon. I also own 5 Wytches.
For Transports there is only one Raider and two Vipers.
My only HQ model is an Archon.

Fast Attack is comparatively full with 12 Reaver Bikes, 5 Scourges, one Razorfighter Jet and 5 of these Jump Infantery guys on hoverboards - whatever name they have.

I only own one singe Ravager with Dark Lances though.

Is there a way to make a somewhat competitive list out of these? I currently do not own a codex and will not buy one for 7th Edition anymore, but the guys I am planning to play against do have all the books anyways.

I could make a small investment to bolster this army a little bit, if it would be of some use.
The game is evolving to see Eldar/Dark Eldar as somewhat same faction nowadays? I do own 3 Eldar Jetbikes and 5 wraithguards and a wave serpent - it this helps But I would need some kind of cheap HQ at least, I suppose?

I have read, that you can combine Eldar and Dark Eldar in the new Ynnari Book.

I have just dumped some of the models I own in this Battlescribe Roster. Is this any good?
Anything I could/should change with max. one extra box of investment?

Fairly solid actually.

But your Archon can't join the wraithguard in the transport (at the start of the game) so you can either drop the wave serpent if he is going to deepstrike with them or drop his wwp.

In that case he needs somewhere to go. I recommend (if you really want to avoid buying until 8th) that you throw him and the wyches into that raider and drop the ten man unit.

Or turn 1 squad of warriors into trueborn with blasters and stick him and them in the raider. (Minus the splinter rack)

If the wraiths go in the serpent then the scythes are a little too short ranged. Swap to the basic gun. This should about pay for the trueborn. Also the serpent is fine without upgrades.

Points permitting I would swap the ravager for the jet but I don't know that would fit.

Alternatively I'm just realizing that the Archon is going with the scourge.

In that case, I still recommend dropping serpent upgrades or such to get a second cannon on your venom and a splinter cannon in the gun boat.

So this is not legal anymore? (or maybe never was?) Aren't they Battlebrothers and can do such things?

Razorwing Jet is in Fast Attack slot so could not change hin with ravager, I suppose? My Fast Attack slot allocation is full.

Is there any other way to deepstrike the flamer wraithguards? Maybe on the craftworld or harlekin side?

I find the beat way is to just attach Archon to wraithguard. Dump the wave serpent. And just have them deepstrikimg on foot. In ynnari reborn warhost they can shoot another until if they are within 7 inches when they destroy something (and with d-scyths they will)

if you deepstrike the wraithguard on foot, they will stand in a akward circle around the archon?

So you'll probably get 3 flamers off. Which is still enough to roast most things

hmm aren't the Reborn Warhost supposed to change faction to Ynnari? If so, wouldn't that make it possible to use archon with portal in a wave serpant?

Unfortunately not. They do not change faction but gain it. So the Archon would be darkeldar ynnari, while the wave serpent is Eldar ynnari. The recent ynnari faq stated that you have to match both factions. The only exception is the triumvirate. Meaning we can't go in Eldar transports and vice versa
