HOW did you do the skin of the Wrack holding the Ossefactor? It shimmers in blue in purple hues and looks incredibly thin and you can almost see the blood vessels underneath! Argh!

This new Succubus model is simply beautiful. It really does up the savage grace and murderous elegance in a way that I am very excited to paint up! I am going to magnetize the arms to get a blast pistol option in there.

WWP Blast pistol can be useful - I used an Archon and Solarite with them on Thursday and vapourised my opponent's warlord when he failed his look out sir roll.

I hope so, because I decided to not magnetize all of the options and model the Succubus with the Glaive/Blast pistol combo. Commitment...I has it Razz

Really want to focus on painting this model and some other things that I'll be using in new lists this month along with that damned Voidraven that I was supposed to paint last month Evil or Very Mad

That succubus looks really good, now I'm really looking forward to seeing it painted ;-)
And good on you for committing to the blast pistol combo, is a wise choice.
And please tell us how the much loved Voidraven bomber preformed!

Speaking of that model, totally got busy Saturday, recorded Splintermind Episode 5 yesterday, and just started back on it this morning. Not the best pic, but you can see that I basically need to paint the eyes, finish the metals and gems, and some glazes and this model is done!

I'm half tempted to make a updated retro Raider to go with them.

Love the current flurry of activity ESE. The Succubus looks amazing... the green of her hair in the latest pic takes it to the next level and as always jealous of that old school Shining Gold!!!

Thanks! That 24yr old Shining Gold is certainly running low....but should be around long enough for whatever units I add to this army. Hopefully.

Finished putting current accessories on the 3rd edition "Heritage" Dark Eldar warriors and found a bit that I could cut down to fill the gap from what is normally the back side of a warriors blasster for the Archon. Hopefully people won't notice the conversion from a splinter rifle arm for the blaster. These guys will get primed if the sun ever comes out today.

In fact, you've already demonstrated how easily you can kitbash the old plastics with some new stuff to get some half-born models. It's what I do every time I get enough spare bits lying around.

Totally agree. The "Closet of Shame" is where all of my unpainted models and projects hide from my wife lest they incur the "You should sell this stuff" from Mrs. Evil Razz

Good looking Succubus, I'm going to make the exact same one, same options, Archite glaive + blast pistol is the way to go.

How's the progress on the Voidraven going? You pauzed on that model? BTw the missile pods, Yeah inclined to not use missiles, unless I got the spare pts to afford those, still the missile pods look so badass on the model, even if empty, I'd still put them on. I magnetised mine, the missile tops can be put lose into the hatch, or I can just put nothing in them.
