Kabalite unit leader loadout?

Now that we have to take a troop leader what is every one load out? Blast pistol and aganizor or just vanilla?

blast pistol only. For 10 pts, you have a weapon that have the same output as the blaster, that can shoot in melee.

So, I will probably use 5-man squad with blaster and blast pistol, or 10-man squad with dark lance and blast pistol.

I'll put at least the Phantasm Grenade Launcher on top too. And the agoniser. Those are dirt cheap. And three additional shots with -1 leadership are great and you'll never know when you'll need the agoniser. But I think the agoniser could be left at home too.

Yeah I was thinking blaster + phantasm grenade launcher + blast pistol for 5 man squads. Dark lance + phantasm grenade launcher + blast pistol for 10 man. Maybe throw in a blaster for the 10 man squad if I have the points to burn.

Personally I'm going to try out the Blast Pistol, Agoniser and PGL on the Sybarite, the fact that they're all so much cheaper is a godsend. Not sure whether to go with 5 man and a Blaster or 10 man and DL yet though.

Have you been on this forum much recently? I think his sig covers certain peoples outlook here perfectly.

I've been doing Blast Pistol and Agoniser, its worked very well so far, Turn 3-4 it works even better!

Are we able to use the special weapon on the leader? Could I run a suicide unit with 4 Kabalites and a leader with a shredder and an agnizor?

As support to other assault units I could see it as a definite possibility.

As every other entry state "1 kabalite warrior can take X" and the last statement is "One model can take a blaster", it's fair to assume the sybarite can take the blaster.

But it also states that "a sybarite may take..."

Ahh my replace its splinter rifle..... Hmmm
