| So in the rules it states that if a unit does not have a weapon in it's profile it is considered to attack with a close combat weapon - what do we think regarding opting to do this even if you have other weapons?
The obvious example would be if you took Grotesques with liquifier guns - against t4 and lower enemies you may wish to use your strength 5 - would this be possible or would you have to attack with the Flesh gauntlet? | |

| You have to use the gauntlet, the rule states that if it doesn't have a weapon in it's profile, then it attacks with a close combat weapon. If it has, you strike with the weapon in the profile. If no rule states that you can, then you can't, simple as that. Just done a quick check, nowhere is said that you may change S of * with the S of the model on a CC model, as it was done in the older books. Just kill them T3 with Wyches. | |
