I'm reasonably certain you're going to have to. Honestly, I wouldn't even assume that we'll get a codex this edition. Historically Dark Eldar have only received codices every other edition - 3rd, 5th, and 7th - so we may not get one until 9th. My strategy is to categorically assume that GW will not release anything for the Dark Eldar ever again. This way I'm not disappointed by GW not releasing anything for the Dark Eldar, and occasionally I'm pleasantly surprised when they do. It's one of my coping mechanisms. (The other one is whiskey.) _________________ Dark Eldar plog: Drug-Crazed Space Elves Stupid humans plog: Calyptra's Stupid Humans Vampire Counts plog: Bat Country

| I suspect new Codex releases will be as with Age Of Sigmar, small updates for sub-factions. I wouldn't be surprised to see Haemonculus Covens or Wych Cults get a small release along those lines. _________________ Kabal of the Eternal Night | Modelling Blog | The Squidmaster Distractathon | Notes on being an RPG Gamesmaster |

| I'm hoping they don't go that granular. I'd be perfectly happy with a book that includes covens, cults and kabals all in one place. Don't particularly want to lug 4 books with me (plus Harlequins, Craftworld etc) whenever I want to play a game. That was one of the problems with 7e! _________________ You have been weighed, you have been measured, and you have been found wanting. In what world could you possibly beat me? | |

| Supposedly they are working on all the codexes as we speak. Rumor had it everyone will get a codex around the same time. | |

| I really like that rumor but I doubt it. The advantage if they spread the codexes out over a longer period of time is that people are more likely to buy multiple. | |
