First 2000 pt list help

Hi everyone so with a few 1'000- tp 1500 pt games played i feel im almost tournament ready so far my list is
1 archon agoniser, splinter pistol
Haemonculus x2
5 kabalites in venom stock
5 kabalites in venom stock
5 grots in raider stock
5 grots in raider stock
10 kabalites
Cronos stock x 2
Talos with haywire
Ravager stock.

Any suggestions where to go from here? I'm thinking 2 more venoms, another ravager and maybe some mandrakes or wracks. Thoughts?

I am not completely sure, but you might want to invest in 1 or 2 mobile units.
This sounds really silly since most of your units come in vehicles and thus are quite mobile. What I found was that because you now need to disembark before you move, a unit or 2 of fast stuff, beasts/ hellions/ maybe even reavers (although they are expensive) that can "catch" enemy jump troops and semi flyers etc that can often run around your wracks, and often have some better defenses against shooting than melee.
Also mandrakes always work well for me, and some more darklight is always good.

I don't see any wracks in his list.
How do you like Grots? They look underwhelming to me due to not gaining any extra defence like most other things did, stayed similar points, and lost rerolling in cc. But I haven't tried them.

My recommendation would be more anti tank weaponry. Ravagers, razorwings, or scourge would be a great addition.

Also grots and haemonculus like venoms blades or electro whips. ;-) Well mine do at least!

The few games i played with grots they performed rather well. The 5 man squad wad actually hard to shift without very dedicated shooting. The cronos returning the extra wounds wasnt a little underwhelming but it helped.
