Metal Archon arms

So I dug my old metal Archon (5th edition) out to repaint him in my new scheme and was wondering if his arms can he detached? I built and painted him years ago so I don't remember. He's modelled with the Huskblade and soul trap and whilst it looks cool I'd rather have him with a Blaster and an aggy in all honesty. I don't want to start trying to rip him apart without knowing what I'm getting in to, so does anyone know if both arms are detachable or if there's an easy way to remove them if they aren't?

I believe that both arms detach from him.  If he's the same as this guy anyway..





If you want to get them off easier, throw him in a small tub of Simply Green cleaning solution for a little while, then scrub him under hot water and all the paint should slop right off, letting you get a clear look at where his arms are joined.  Also a lot of times the Simply Green will loosen up most super-glues, especially on metal models.

Thanks man! He was my first Archon, and while I like to think my painting has improved, I still love how it turned out.

But back on topic, I do hope it all works out man, show us how it turns out!

So here's my Archon, finally got a chance to get at my computer and upload these. Might try and take him apart without stripping him, quite happy with how he turned out after a bit more paint. Definitely not perfect (or entirely finished in all honesty) but he at least looks pretty imposing from a distance!
