| Hi,
While waiting for all my mail orders to arrive (mostly paint and bits to build a converted archon) I am considdering to save up and purchase either the battleforce or the other bigger version (cant recall the name), if I can manage to wait.
However, are the sprues and plastic models in the battleforce-set(s) any different from the usual boxes?
e.g. is there more bits and options in the normal boxes than in the battleforce sprues for the wyches?

| The sprues are identical as far as I am aware.
Also there are rumours that we will be get a larger box over Christmas. I don't remember the details but some of the numbers I can recall were 20 wyches, 10 warriors, 9 reavers, some number of scourges plus other stuff. Its something a little bit over $300 Australian, which probably means 200 or 250 American/Canadian.

| Cheers for the swift reply!
I was merely unsure due to how the models in the 40k starter-box are different from the usual boxes.
The larger box seems way above norwegian customs-limits for cost-effective internet orders then, but in case it is not grossly overpriced at the GW in Oslo, it does sound tempting.

| The sprues in the Battleforce are the same as you get in the boxes. | |

| The starter boxes get simplified bits with the intent of making them cheaper and easier for new players to use. | |

| Consider Starter Set as different as different kit.
This is why You can buy AoBR dreads in diffeent prices than "normal" dreads.
XXXXforce is just repack of normal boxes. This is exactly why You can't have Deff Kopters or plastic Warbosses in them. However this is exactly why You have Burna Boyz upgrade sprue in addition to Lootaz sprue.
Starter kits are "exclusive".

| If the new christmas box (£130 IIRC) is available at darksphere or maelstrom (-20% RRP) then it's worth it ... otherwise I think 2 battleforces and 2 venoms @ internet prices would be better. | |
