Look Ma, No troops!

Having a ton of fun with army lists in 8th. Thought I would do a dual Ynnari Vanguard detachment thing. Still new to 8th and had taken quite a break during 7th. Mistakes are likely made, but I think it has 5 CP.

First Detachment:
Illiryth

Specters x3 and an exarch with blaster
Specters x3 and an exarch with blaster
Wraithguard D-schythes (5)

Hemlock with horrify

Serpent with three SCs, stones and vectored engines

Second Detachment:
Ycarne
Archon with phantasm and husk

Tantalus

On Battlescribe, this is comming out to 1995. Just some key notes, Ill gives himself and any friendly spectre unit an 18" bubble that forces all enemy units to roll an extra dice when making LD checks. With three units this is pretty large coverage. And of course, I will be holding him in the Shadows. The rest seems pretty self explanatory. I think there are several no-brainer units in the mix for any Ynnari list: hemlock and serpent borne d-scythes.

I think this would be a ton to play and just waiting on my tantalus to get here.

I would have used a warlock instead of illiryth. Both drain and conceal are absolutely amazing to offset our fragility, especially with expensive elite troops.
