+1 Strength Drug roll and Poisoned CC weapons

I think I may have missed out on killing another 3 or 4 Marines over 3 rounds of combat with the Succubus on the weekend, as I rolled up +1 to Strength for Drugs, and I field her with an Agoniser.

Rules for Poisoned CC weapons say if attackers Str is equal too or greater than opponents T, you can reroll failed To Wound rolls.

So, with the Combat Drug roll +1 Str, can we re-roll our Poisoned CC weapons against T4 and lower? It doesn't say anything (at least from what I can see...) about modifiers to Strength being allowed or disallowed.....

Problem is the agoniser is not a poisoned weapon. It just has the always hit on 4+ part, but not the re-roll part.

But you're fundamentally right. Poisoned weapons count drugs too, because if they didn't, the rule would mention base strength, like the instant death rule mentions base toughness.

Tiri hit the nail on the head, the agonizer is a special CCW that functions like poison but isn't.

I feel your pain, I lost a 'ard Boyz prelim because I forgot my Furious charge poisoned weapons hormies got to reroll wounds against an ork mob.
