Solitaire as Ynnari

I just wanted to ask, when the Solitaire Blitzes he adds 2d6 to his move characteristic. If Yvraine casts Word of the Phoenix on him, this carries over to the soulburst move right? It says it adds it to his move characteristic for the rest of the turn, so his move + soulburst would be 12 +2d6 + 12 + 2d6? Then he could charge 2d6. This means he has a threat range of 24 +6d6 +1 for combat range + 3 if he started his move in a starweaver.

Is this correct? Would he have an average threat range from a starweaver of 49"?

As per RAW it seems so. But expect this to be FAQed and I wouldn't play it like this if I wanted to keep friends.

If everything good was going to get faq'd to mediocrity then why are things that are super strong like Roboute Gulliman or conscripts/brims still hanging around.

Sure some things do get faq'd but this isn't a game breaking thing by any stretch. Its just a tool to use.

Yeah, the range is good but he is pretty bad against any remotely tough target

49'' threat range on model with 25mm base and Solitaire attack power? He will erase any AM command structure if they just leave enough room for him to end his move and charge...

Get a bomber and you can create your own space within their ranks.

EDIT: But then again... again half-smart opponent it wouldnt work as he will never leave enough space to place even small base next to Commisar.

yeah but thats a pretty tough move to predict. I get sad that Psychic powers have limits. I want to use word of the phoenix on dark reapers for vehicle killing, I want to use it on splinter cannon x10 scourges for horde killing. Now I want to use it to cause an uber pounce of solitaire. Too many really good uses for this power. Hopefully dark eldar get stratagems or something to boost their buff vectors. They have very few to begin with inside dark eldar only models.

Just think about the fact that a wraithguard with d-scyth has a 30"-40" threat bubble. ON FOOT.

1st turn opponent, enemy gets first blood wraithguard advance 5"+d6

My movement phase turn 1, wraithguard advance another 5"+d6

My psychic phase, word of pheonix wraithuard soulburst and advance 5"+d6

my shooting phase, wraithguard threat bubble is now a maximum of 41" from where the model was deployed (including weapon range).   

Its not just the solitare.  Even one of our arguably slowest units with its shortest range weapon option, can reach a, on average, 32" threat range.
