Kabals and Associated Wyche Cults

I was looking over the myriad of information on the web about the Dark Eldar, trying to finalize my choice for my army. I previously posted about a DIY Kabal.... but to be honest, I was having a lot of problems coming up with the specifics.

I started looking at the different paint-schemes and I found one that I liked. The Kabal of the Obsidian Rose. I read the back story and really liked it...

SO.... I opted to go with that Kabal for my army.

The next question that I came up with was about the Wyche Cult(s) that might be associated with the Obsidian Roses. I like the look of the Red Grief and I was wondering if there is any restriction on which cults work with which kabal??

Any info would be appreciated.

Some are closely associated (and 'coincidentally' have simlar colours in their liverly) However technichally a wych cult can be totally different in colour.

Essentially you can have kabalite house + sponsored/home team wyches so they'd be of similar colours. So, for example, the kabal of the obsidian rose might have the 'cult of the deadly thorn' (or something) - which would basically be the kabals sponsored cult. However you could always have a 'mercenary' or hired cult that is completely different (the cult of the monkey flange - colours orange and green!) or indeed a cult that's not kabal associated but 'happens' to be of similar colours (the cult of the red rose ;-))
