Nope. When you're in a vehicle, no auras or other abilities work unless specifically stated.

I'm very happy that the rules work like this.
I'd rather not play a game where commissars can hide inside a tank and still provide their broken aura.

I'd rather we got a slightly more common sense approach. Like one where characters in open topped vehicles could still use their auras.

The truly absurd thing is, auras should work for units inside the same vehicle.
