That's really possible. They might want to surf on their 8th edition popularity to sell a ton of them.

I could just do with some Mandrakes that aren't bloody Failcast!

It does look like one of the Mandrake's sickles ... But it could just as easily be something for tyranid or necrons ... I hope it's plastic Mandrake's though ...

Nids. I learned long ago about getting my hopes up.. I cant imagine them releasing DE models when our dex is nowhere even in sight on the horizon.
So that leaves nids.

It is remarkably similar to one of those wrack tools...
but no, I wouldn't put my money on drukhari.

Unless they plan to surprise us with a "around Halloween" release like our last codex release ... Cause woo terror and all that

I agree on Wrack tools, here's hoping for plastic Grotesques.
Although i wouldn't bet on it xD

Plastic wracks are my bet. It's a bone they can throw us players in the Pit of Codex Starvation while simultaneously updating their model range with existing sculpts (or with a kit based off of existing sculpts). Everybody wins.

Oh weird there's this strange feeling that this is Age of Sigmar. It's like there's something I can't place about it but I know it!

I also fear it is age of sigmar. Or an chaos unit in 40k.
But I would love to be proven wrong.

I agree with many on here...it does look like a Wrack Tool or the Mandrake weapon. Plastic Grotesques or Mandrakes would be amazing!

But...it seems a little too soon for any DE releases if our codex is still not due for at least another 4 months (2018).

However ... It looks exactly like the blade the 2nd Wrack from the right on the box is holding ... So maybe plastic grots in boxes of 3?

I'm so hoping for plastic Mandrakes, but rationally I think it's AoS...

I find it highly doubtful they would tease a DE release.
Making a big fuzz about a niche xenos army? Hardly.

After all this Death Guard 40K only models I am pretty much certain it will turn out to be some sort of AoS model.

Wouldn't surprise me if it was the top of a spear/ staff, and they're just shooting from an odd angle.

I could also see it as a handheld sort of 'hook'. Maybe even a 'Nids thing (not chitinous enough).
