Save as????

Is it just me, but when I load the main page I get a popup window to save a file called group as a shockwave object. I'm using chrome and have never had this happen before. when I click on sub pages this does not happen, but If I hit back or click a link back to the main page it asks to save the file.

What is going on?

I have the same problem. My virus scanner says it is malware.

Shockwave is to do with flash. Our chat at the bottom of the forum uses flash. So it might just be the chat trying to load at the bottom of the screen. Chrome disables/blocks flash by default, but depending on your settings it can instead try to download flash files instead of running them. So it might be to do with that?

I have this too on PC.
In addition:
On phone every page is zoomed in on default (about x4, annoying, have to zoom out each time) and my name and notifications are on the wrong side, resulting in the "The Dark City" Banner in the upper left corner being cropped.
Both is new and i don't like it.

I'm on chrome, and since today I got the swf file download when clicking on the header banner too.

I already had the chat working before, without this stuff.

Actually on Phone it's normal again for me today

Yeah it's pretty annoying.
Can't Alt + F4 browsers because of "Sownload still in progress" and stuff.

Fixed.

The chat at the bottom was the culprit. Well that and a lot of browsers changing their default behaviour around what they do when they encounter flash.

This has removed the chatbox from the front page, as noted by @Zergavas

The fix was to remove chatbox, as chatbox is causing the issue (as it's flash based).

I'm trying to see if chatbox have a non flash version we can embed at the bottom of the page. Another option is potentially linking to discord at the bottom of the page instead, and moving away from chatbox completely.

In the mean time the chat is still accessible via the resources tab.

Update: found a non flash version of chatango to embed at the bottom. Let me know if there are any issues.
