| Have had some good results with wych cult units lately, and I'm considering going all in on a pure wych cult list. Has anyone tried it yet? If so: how did it go? | |

| I think currently it would be very fun, but not overly competitive. Once the new codex is out that may change (one can hope ) | |

| I've tinkered with wych cult, but I think it may be best with an Allied heavy detachment with three Ravagers. | |

| My limited experience, I have played some wych cult (with incubi) in small games (750-1000) and the major problem is no anti tank. All the options for anti tank are either melee or close to melee, which for me ment I could not bust open transports and kill the units inside before they could charge me as well, and if we do not get the charge we are just to squishy and die. | |

| Honestly, nay.
Wyches just don't seem any good at all, and Bloodbride are not worth anything for their extra points cost.

| As someone with 40 wyches and a full complement of raiders painted up for them, I WISH the answer was "Yeah, it's awesome!"
I am afraid however, that the answer is "Don't bother."

| Pure wych cult? Yeah! It's easy. Just look in the section of the Index under Harlequins. Great wyches. Paint them up with some heavy eyeliner and bondage. Good to go. | |

| What if you replace ravagers with razorwings? | |

| As the rules currently stand, there is no reason to ever take Wyches in an army. Bloodbrides less so. An entire army of them is really not a good idea *as the rules currently stand*. Even if you take Ravagers. Even if you take Razorwings. | |

| I’ll be a yay sayer
I like them. They can really piss off a demon prince with their 4++
I ise ravagers as wych cult units because the kabal bonus is crap
The stuff that has done work for me has been ravagers and venoms, so if you support those with wyches and beasts then I think you could play semi competitive
I wish reavers were better
Haven’t tried hellions or blood brides, Altho if you consider it paying 4 points for an extra drug and a half then maybe blood brides could be used

| Tried them a few times, they can do some alright damage, but when they die like they were made of paper, they just don't last long enough to do enough damage. | |

| Ah I think we must first define a wych army.
Most people here seem to think it involves wyches, but I used quite a lot of beasts and hellions (also not the best unit but I like them) led by a succubus. Supported by some wyches and reavers and a unit of incubi and a razorwing jetfigther. So in 1000 points the incubi are not wyches and while officially beast are not wych cult I do consider them part of it since the beastmaster is a wych cult unit as well. It is not the best army, and I would not dare take it to a tournament, but in friendly "fluffy" games it is usable.
