1500pt list

Hi everyone,
I was hoping some of the experienced Dark Eldar players could critique my 1500pt list.

HQ and company: The Duke (150pts)
8x Wyches, Helatrix, Hydra Gauntlets (100pts)
1x Haemonculus, liquifier (60pts)
Raider, Flickerfield (70pts)
Total: 380pts

Troops (2x): 5x kabalite warriors (50pts)
1x venom with splinter cannon (65pts)
Total: 220pts

Trueborn (2x): 4x kabalite trueborn with 4x blasters (108pts)
1x venom with splinter cannon (65pts)
Total: 346pts

Incubi: 5x incubi (110pts)
1x venom with splinter cannon (65pts)
Total: 175pts

Heavy Support: 3x Ravager, Night Shields, Flicker Fields (375pts)

I think that comes out to 1496pts. My main question is regarding the Duke; is he worth it? He costs 30pts more than the "standard" Archon (agonizer, drugs, shadowfield) but offers 3+ poisoned on 1 unit of warriors or trueborn and more combat drug options. In an army with many combat drug units, I think he is a "no brainer" but I only have 1 unit of wyches and only 5 basic troops in each warrior squad. If I took the standard Archon, I could use the additional 30pts to put a blaster in each warrior squad or give night shields to more of the vehicles.

Would You like to use Your Venoms and Raider as Drop Pods (DS + disembark)? If so, then he is worth Your time.

To be honest I would replace Wyches with unit of 10 Warriors with SC and Blaster (in Raider). You can't deploy Duke to non-Warrior units.

You can deploy them outside Raider (with Duke), join Duke (in Your movement phase) and Pain token to Incubi (You need to either rid two of them or pick Raider) and mount them right back into Raider (without Duke they fit)

That DS list is very interesting; his vehicle killing power is in a ton of Raiders and his infantry killers are the Razorwings ... I do not think I would like to DS everything at the current time (though I may try it later), so perhaps a "standard" Archon would be best. Would you still recommend switching out the Wyches? I am likely going to be playing some Necrons in the near future and so I thought having at least a bit of assault troups (Wyches and Incubi) might be wise. I plan on using the two venoms loaded with regular warriors as splinter cannon platforms and hope to counter most infantry with massed splinter cannon fire (and some assault). Most all of my anti-vehicle power is contained in the 3 Ravagers.

Just a few things;

1. Officially the Duke *has* to deploy with Warriors or Trueborn if such are available.

2. I think you lack enough combat drugs and don't seem interested in DSing to really take advantage of the Duke.

Overall I would say sack the Duke for a generic Archon - you're not taking advantage of his abilities enough to justify the cost.

Generic Archon it is! Kitted out with Agonizer, Shadowfield and Combat Drugs, said Archon is 120pts, saving me 30pts over the Duke. Would these 30pts be best spent on blasters for the two units of 5 warriors, more vehicle upgrades or something else entirely? How about the rest of the list other than the HQ? Are three Ravagers plus 1 Raider enough anti-tank at 1.5k? Thank you for the feedback!

I'd go for the Blasters.

I don't think anyone ever knows what 'enough' anti-tank is. I will say I've fielded 20+ darkmatter weapons in 15k and found myself wanting more, but that is a personal taste and meta thing.
