I cooked this list up out of a deep dissatisfaction with what 7e did to our HQ choices, and what the 8e index did to the token Lhamean HQ. I've chosen the Alaitoc Craftworld bonus, since the -1 to hit is so valuable in an army where almost everything imposes a -1 to hit already.
It also features an Asuryani Air Wing, because Hemlock Wraithfighters are the most Dark Eldar unit I've ever seen. (Tagline: "Our weapons are terror, dark lances, and
speed!")
I admit, I'm not as familiar with the other two codices, so there's a strong possibility I've missed other good options (particularly in wargear). I'm hoping that the air wing isn't too much of an investment for this point level. I realize that my ground presence is a bit fragile, but those 580 points are some of my favorite units in the game.
