I wrote this only having the index, if Chapter Approved changes point values I haven't gotten the opportunity to take it in to account yet.

I was basically trying to bring as many Dark Lances as I could with this list, and making sure I had no infantry on the ground without a transport, because I feel like leaving a group of infantry out in the cold is just asking to give points away. With 15 Dark Lances and 6 Blasters I was starting to think my Venoms and Splinter Rifles might not be enough anti infantry, so I brought scourges with shard carbines because they were cheap, and assault 3 poison on a mobile platform for 14 points a gun sounded reasonable to me. They'd be mostly there to help clear screens and contest objectives and the like.

Let me know what you think. I'm super psyched about DE, but I've never played them before so I don't even know if this would actually work, but I like the idea of it.

From what I've read and my play experiences this looks like a very strong list.

Couple changes to consider:
-You can save 15pt by removing a blaster from an archon and give him the free relic pistol that came out in chapter approved. It seems really strong if you can get past the 12" range.

-I'm not a fan of the second splinter cannons on the venoms. I try to get into 12" range to get rapid fire out of the kablites and this distance favors the twin splinter rifles as well. 15pts for two extra shots at 12" isn't cost effective. I'm not sure how I feel about the splinter cannon upgrade to the razorwing. I could see it making more scene on the razorwing though.

-So you could have up to 120pts to send removing 1 blaster and 7 splinter cannons. I would recommend spending 12 points on 4 PGL's for the kablites. I've found they make up their points. Otherwise you could add some court units to the archon venom, or blasters to the scourge, or more scourge. I would rather have one more scourge than a splinter cannon upgrade.

-Not that I necessarily recommend it, but it would be interesting to see what you or other people think about mixing in some disintegration cannons into the razorwing or ravagers. For 10 extra points they are still ok vs vehicles but much better if you need to divert more firepower to infantry or finish off the last 1-2 hits on a heavily wounded vehicle.

I like the Splinter Cannons on Venoms instead of Twin Splinter Rifles.

I know that it's not really worth it if you're going to be trying to get the warriors into rapidfire range, but I don't really intend to do that. I might drop the warriors on an objective, or I might just accept that I'm only getting 1 shot out of each, but I'd be keeping my Venoms at 17" away from the enemy so unless they're extremely fast it's going to take a high charge roll to catch me instead of making it a 6" move and a 6" charge it'd be a 6" move and a 11" charge, which is a lot safer for me. Plus 17" is just close enough for the Blaster in each unit to take it's shots, so the cannons synergise with the special weapons there.

I don't have Chapter Approved yet, but if there's a good pistol in there I'd probably spend the 15 points I save on a splinter cannon for my fifth venom.

The PGLs I have on my Archons, but I'm not opposed to moving them around or dropping shock prows to afford a third. I'd just have to see how they work first once I start playing.

I don't really want any heavy weapons on my scourges because I brought them specifically to be anti infantry since I'm not planning on warriors being able to rapidfire.

As far as Disintigrator Cannons, it'll take me a while to paint everything, but after I do I'll buy an extra ravager and build it with Cannons, drop a warrior squad, upgrade the twin splinter rifle venom to a cannon and split my archons up, and run the list with 3 Disintigrator Cannons and tell you what I think. They seem like they'd be good against things like terminators, but terminators just aren't very good right now so I feel like they'd be the least of my problems. And sure they could peel the last couple wounds off a vehicle, but maybe if I was shooting Dark Lances instead that vehicle wouldn't have those last couple wounds left anyway.

Just to say the Pistol in Chapter Approved is free cost Pistol 2 -2 D2 R 12 would be great to save those 15 points. I don't use Disintigrator Cannons as the Dark Lances are great but, I would take amishprn86's advice and get a Voidraven Bomber. I had great luck with the bomb on that hitting 100% of it's attempts on mortal wounds and it does clear a unit out quick.
