Hmm new T-Sons info with of DE? What you think?

IDK what i think about this, i had some theories that Vect didnt go back to Commoragh b.c of Daemons, but b.c of some other reason, this is making me like my theory more.

(I had a couple, he saw a better tactical approach somewhere else and he used the Daemon to get what he wanted. Or he is using the Daemons to get Commoragh out of a small civil war and this was the perfect time to do that) But now i think it might have something to do with Yvraine, she might have released the Daemons.

Well ... That explains the webway stratagem they have ... And I guess that means that somewhere t-sons and parts of the true kin might combine into a different army? Though now it does make sense that DE are after t-sons if their codex mentions them like this.

I'm kind of glad that Commorragh gets some more significance in the overall story. However, I hope we don't get completely cannibalized and worn down by all the factions that have their feud in our dark city.

We used to be the most terrifying place in the universe, but it seems we have become a playground as of late...

I still think DE will morph soon, i think they are slowly making it more PC, so they change the lore here and there to get away from Torture/sex to more souls augmenting. DE will still have the Frankenstein Syndrome (I think they call it something else now, where you have obsession to surgically change the human body).

But this way they can make it all PG-13

I'm still not convinced that GW are moving away from the kinky BDSM aesthetic for either us or Slaanesh, but I'd love to see us double down on the "transhuman elves" thing as well.

This new lore is getting more stupid by the second. DE working with Chaos would be like the Ecclesiarchy saying atheism is cool.

They wont phase DE out, but there might be a T-son vs DE box set.

Yeah, I don't come away from any of this thinking DE are getting smaller. Quite the opposite, in fact. I love seeing us in the lime-light. Quite frankly, presumed 'alliances' historically only bode ill for those who think they have the better hand in the deal with the True Kin.

Dark Eldar have too much going for them to phase them out:
1. Dynamic story capability (i.e. not the bland/rigidness of the CWE)
2. Dynamic inter-play within the Drukhari society
3. One of the few armies that heavily utilizes female warriors (something GW actively wants to improve to appeal to a larger player population)
4. Play style very unique from any other army

I think the future is bright. Codex will be telling!

Some what makes sense that Arhiman would head to Commorragh. Vect and he share a want to track down Yvraine.

Also, to those saying that DE and Chaos have never worked together are ignoring that Lucious and Fabius Bile have spent time in Commorragh.
I'm totally down on a TS & DE box.

This doesn't look like the True Kin are working with the Thousand Sons, it seems that the Thousand Sons wanna bust in Commoragh and the Dark Eldar will do our best to slaughter them as they are psykers and we don't want them here.

And you know, the webway is our turf.

My friend recently got himself the eldar codex and we were both frankly disgusted at the way GW have retconned characters like Eldrad to crowbar in their ham-fisted poorly written Mary-Sues. Why are they incapable of writing anything without changing the past fluff to make it fit. I guarantee our fluff with get made more PC and we will have the bloody Yinnari forced in at every opportunity that Gav Thorpe can get his greasy little hands on it.

The Black Library is somewhere in the Webway right? You control Commorragh, you control the webways, might help shorten the search and reduce threat of ambushes and whatnot.

No, it doesn't remotely say that the Black Library is in Commoragh, all it says is that Ahriman has set his sights on the Dark City of Commoragh, nothing else.

Personally, I think this has a lot less to do with Vect directly and more with Urien Rakarth and the Haemonculi.

I think suggesting that anyone at GW has the faintest idea where they are going with any of these plotlines is a pretty big leap.

I mean they can't write him finding the Black Library, there would be nowhere for his story to go ever again after that. He's taken one meaninless step forward towards a goal he can't ever reach, its plot advancement for the sake of saying the plot has advanced.

No, he wont find it, but its an easy way to start a war with Xeno's and Chaos to make box sets, books and new models.

T-sons and Tzeentch is getting some love and it seems like they want to move AoS models to 40k (They just did that, like literally, the new Tzeentch Codex has AOS models in it that are 40k models now). Vortex Beast and Tzaangors if you wanted to know what was ported over.

To me, it just seems a way to better push some models and a underselling army.

Wonderful, AoS 40k just what we all wanted. I can't wait for the grand alliance of bad guys; Dark Eldar, Choas and Necrons, maybe I should get some daemons of slaanesh so I can have them painted by the time we can take them as allies.

Well playing "devil's advocate" Chaos always had WHFB armies with same models, they might just be making sure that stays in line.

But... why make Bolt Pistols and Chainswords for Tzaangors? They work great as fast moving sultist, if they wanted a straight port i would assume they be +1T and +2M cultist for Tzeentch.. hmmm
