Lords of the Iron thorn 1750 list.

So for the past few months I have been thinking over tactics I like and would like to build my army around so when I finally built a list I designed the entirety of it to use with the tactics I wanted to focus on.

List One: balanced.

HQ- 3 Haemonuculi- 210
3 agonizer.

Elites- 5 Kabalite Trueborn- 170
3 shardcarbines 2 splintercannons, Venom w second splinter cannon & nightsheild.

Elites- 5 Kabalite Trueborn- 170
3 shardcarbines 2 splintercannons, Venom w second splinter cannon & nightsheild.

Elites- 5 Incubi- 215
klaivex w onslaught, Venom w 2 splintercannons & nightsheilds.

Troops- 9 Wracks- 160
Raider w flickerfeild.

Troops- 9 Wracks- 160
Raider w flickerfeild.

Troops- 9 Wracks- 160
Raider w flickerfeild.

Fast Attack- 5 Scourges- 130
2 splintercannons.

Heavy Support- 3 Ravagers- 375
flickerfields & nightsheilds

Total- 1750

The wracks assault shooting units as well as bog down large threats when needed.
Trueborn move around the table decimating assault troops with massed splinter fire.
Also my Ravagers will destroy anti-transport tanks and then there transports.
Each unit will be targeted against a single type of opponent. Shoot the choppy and chop the shooty.

I would love some feed back.

Ok so I have been questioning my list.
1 I like and orderd some haemom so would like to use them because they are vercitile.
2 I dont know about wracks but I already have 30 really awsome ones
3 I want three squads of three reavers in fast attack

What if I did this.

3 heamon with WWP and Hexrifles:
starts with wyched, leaps out of raider and deployes webway leaving his token. snipes till wracks come in and joins them sharing there pain token or just continues to snipe.

27 blood brides:
flyes forward in raiders and attemps to assault troops in need of a whooping.

40 warrors with dark lances:
holds my side and provides suppresive fire

30 wracks:
pops out of webway and swarms the borde with cheap troops

9 reavers with heat lance and caltrops:
flyes out and attacks tanks while flying over troops

3 ravagers with dark lances:
they do what they do best.

I think I know the awnser but do you think I should drop 10 of warriors and mount them with splinter cannons.

I think the big glaring hole in that army is going to be popping open mech quickly enough to give your units targets. I'd probably drop one WWP and also the caltrops, and use the saved points to try to amp up your anti-mech tools.

Well thats the question. How much anti mec to take in general. Are the 9 dark lances and 3 dark lances not enough or do I need to replace my blood brides for blaster born?

I find 12 lances to be a laughable amount of anti-mech and would never be able to survive local play if I did that. If you can survive with 12 lances, then so much the better, your plan will work. But if the other players usually slap down 6+ vehicles at 1750 then you're setting yourself up for failure.

Thats a good point thor. My meta is always changing but right now there are IG, daemons, nids and chaos. Only the Ig player uses lots of tanks but It would be nice to do some dmg to him. would you suggest blaster born? I want some anti infantry shooting and I was going to take splinterborn for all my anti assault infantry. |slugga boys, stealers, hormagaunts, howling banshees so on| but everyone seams to be singing the praises of blaster born so there must be something to it.
