Does anyone know why GW is so stingy with Xenos grenades? Just curious.

Yeah about 1 hour and 20 minutes into the table top tactics video, the dark eldar player throws a plasma grenade at the chaos lord on juggernaught.

Fixed that for you. Honestly, show me another army that has assault grenades in their army list and yet lacks the number of them as much as dark eldar. Orks got free grenades on just about every squad for 7th edition. Craftworlders have them on Autarchs, both guardians, dire avengers, scorpions, and fire dragons have meltabombs. Which sure, isn't THAT many units but we've currently (index) have them on...wyches...bloodbrides (who are confirmed to be going away) and...scourges.

Sure, the assault grenade rule isn't a thing anymore but I'd love for a kabalite warrior to be able to chuck d6 S4 Ap-1 shots at say a guardsman or most eldar infantry in place of two splinter shots. It ain't a lot, but those things add up quick...especially for an army who has trouble with dealing with large numbers of light infantry.

Hey, back in 5th when I got into CWE we had grenades on Scorpions, Autarchs, and Swooping Hawks. That was it.

Trust me, actually having grenades is a new addition.

Honestly I don't miss assault grenades that much. We have the phantasm GL and a strat to make it do MW.
And we got a strat for HW grenades too.
Our basic weaponry is better than assault grenades anyway.

d6 S4 AP -1 shots is better than 2 poison shots 5 times out of 6 against infantry.

Well, yeah, it might be slight exageration by my part for the sake of my point... it being it would be good to have them, but not essential to our playability.

Razorflails now make D3 extra attacks.

All kalab units with fly can use a strat (1cp j believe) to dish mortal wounds to a unit they pass over, 6 vs non infantry, 5+ vs infantry. Basically the screamer rule.

Also wrong, it’s Wych units that can do that, not Kalab/Kebab/Kabal.
