| Khymerae come in a pair for one power level. The book states in the back that it is 10 points per model. Is it 10 points per model or 10 points per pair? I ask be cause battle scribe has them set for 10 points per pair (which makes them 5 points per model) and I don't think that is correct. | |

| It's 10 points per model but they must be bought in pairs (ie 20 points per pair). | |

| No, you don't, or else you would not be able to have 6 or 9 man squads. Only with PL it comes in pairs. Like Kabalites come in 5 man packs. | |

You might want to check the rules before you say something like that. The unit entry only allows the purchase of pairs of Khymerae. Regardless of whether you want to use power levels or points you are still only allowed to purchase them in pairs. It's different to every other unit entry which allows "up to x additional models" | |

| I still do not agree, as this rule with pairs is for playing with power ratings. The rule for point buy is on page 126 in the codex, where you look in the list entries and it is 2 to 12 models with each point costs of 10.
Not that it is a really big issue, for this unit has lost it's edge anyway. | |

| I agree it's not a big issue but I still think you're wrong. Nothing on page 126 gives you any instructions on how to build a unit. It simply tells you to add up the point cost of all your models and wargear to find the total points value of your army. The datasheets themselves give you the details of the models in a unit and the datasheet for Khymerae very clearly says you buy them in pairs. There is no option to buy a single Khymera.

| Well, lets stop this here. To be save go with the pairs option,which it is definitely always correct.
I stand to my opinion of two rule sets, one for PR and one for point buy. | |
