Kabal Brigade/Other Ideas

Hello there Denizens of the Dark City!

My name is Archon Ebaj of the Kabal of the Shattered Hand and I'm a newcomer to all this Power from Pain Shennanigans! I've got two of the Old Start Collecting Sets and am really excited to join you all in raiding realspace.

I was originally super keen on running 6 Patrols and getting  nice mix of everything but the FAQ has put an end to that dream So, I've got a number of lists I'd love to run by you guys but first lets start with a cheeky brigade (Pure Kabal!) Also please let me know if there is a better way to format these things.

Strategy:
Have the Archons, Drazar, the Incubi and the Slyths in a Raider in Deep Strike. Ready to either smash into enemy gunlines or intercept enemy assaults.
The Kabalites, 2 squads per Raider, flying around splintering infantry to death while Dark Lances deal with those juicy Tanks.
Scourges sit in deep strike, ready to drop down and pop tanks (Blasters) or shred infantry/lone characters (Shardcarbines)
Ravagers do what Ravagers do best, sending dark lances flying aross the board into enemy monsters/armour, Razorwing does the same.

15CP with Archon reclaiming them on a 6 gives me a bucket-load of CP to play with. Whether denying enemy stratagems, Fire and Fading, Pushing up the Incubis PFP to hit on 2s etc I got loads to play with!

What weaknesses do you see in this list?

Could I use a better relic?

Nice ideas generally but Slyth sadly don't count towards your elite slots :/ maybe get rid of some splinter racks + something else to add some mandrakes? 2 units will set you back 160pts, so losing the flier would nearly get you there. Good luck!

Ah dang, do they not? I thought you WERE able to take them for free (Because of Archons) but still could take them as Elites. Anyone can clarify?

I also thought that you can use them as part of court of the archon, but you can also use them standalone as elite unit.

But reading the codex it doesn't state that you have the choice. It just says this ...

if your army is Battle-forged, this model does not take up slots in a Detachment that includes any <KABAL> Archons.

So you could use it as an elite unit, but only in detachments without an archon.

EDIT: Or Archon from a different Kabal. But this stop obsessions from working as you must have all units from one Kabal except mercs.

Dang, that seems to say they won't take up a slot!

I suppose Mandrakes would be an alright fit.

What are peoples thoughts on Incubi this edition, worth it or no?

I like them, but they aren't considered particulary competitive. Been thinking of a brigade too recently, this was what I came up with:

Possibly switch out the bomber and a few pts here and there for:
Wych battalion:
Succubus: 54pts
3x5 wyches + shardnets: 135pts

Both come to just under 2k. Fairly similar build with some tweaks

In the first: 15 command points, a bit heavier hitting with the bomber but no screening units, 2nd has the wyches to draw fire or tie up units in combat but would have to add another succubus and take away a fair amount of points :/
