Feedback for 1.5k tournament list

Got a tournament coming up, expecting about a 50/50 mix of tanks and infantry, maybe a little heavier on the infantry.

I think the list speaks for itself as far as gameplan. Archons from flayed skull go character hunting/general annoyances, black heart archon babysits ravagers, who shoot things. Kabalites move up to control the board and slay enemy troops/monsters (expecting demon princes) and voidraven will hopefully bomb a blob or elite unit.

Fire analysis:

Assuming venoms are at 18"

48 splinter shots at 3+
6 blasters at 3+
6 dark laces at 3+ (3 shots rr 1s)
18 dissies at 3+
2 void laces at 3+
Missiles
Void mine

I'm considering taking out the voidraven and a venom and turning a 10 man Kabalite squad into 2x5 so I can fit in a farseer and two Warlocks all on bikes.

I'm not found of splinter rack. They're only effective 1/6th of the time, for 10 points. Not worth it.

I've been getting lucky with them, but if I drop them and maybe the second cannon from each venom I could maybe fit another 5 Kabalites. Worth it?

Yes. Very much worth it.

Also, the Djinn Blade/Hatred Eternal Archon is a monster in combat, for sure. Super fun and (finally) actually good on the field. If you're trying to be as competitive as possible though, the Black Heart Archon wins every time.

But I assume you already knew that and wanted to play something different, which I support 100%. Other than that the list has a lot of good things going for it and it'll definitely serve you well.

I've actually done a bit more upgrade shaving, possibly too much, and have squeezed a second 5 man Kabalites squad in

Hardly too much. Disintegrator Ravagers are better/more versatile anyway and bare bones has always been the Dark Eldar way. I might recommend with the loss of the missiles that you go for the scythes instead, so you can still threaten a few different targets with the Raven. Aside from that it's a rock solid list.

Be sure to wrap your Archons in some Raiders/Venoms as you move up. The re-roll 1's to hit aura might not be useful with Flayed Skull but if your opponent strays too close you can unload a venom and charge it in to tank the over watch, then watch you Archons tear things apart. They never see it coming

You may want to consider contacting your TO to see if they're enforcing the new datasheet restrictions. If they are, your may need to cut a Ravager.

@MrStimpson Did I miss something? You can’t use the same data sheet MORE than three times, two is fine. If I understood correctly.
