questionr egarding my RW equipment

so I have a little dilemma here
have enough points to play 4 5 man kabalites with shedders in each and dark lances on my 3 RW or play 3 disintegrator cannons on each of the RW and Blasters in the kabalites I already have a black heart 3 Ravanger detachment

and what obsession is best for the RW's? i fly them in a separate detachment?

Razorwings probably benefit from black heart and flayed skull most. Black heart makes you a little tougher, while flayed skull lets you ignore cover. Poisoned tongue is handy for the necrotoxin missiles but not really needed, while obsidian rose is probably the least useful since with their speed fliers don't really need the extra range.

You're presenting your dilemma as all or nothing when I don't think it has to be. Take some shredders and blasters in your kabalite units, maybe 50/50 each than take say 2 dissie razorwings and 1 dark lance.

If you're taking 3 fliers, definetly take them in an airwing for the extra cp, but given you already have 3 ravagers I don't particularly think you need 3 razorwings as well.

Some people seem to think they can, ie that the Red Grief obsession overrides the rule saying they can't charge. This does however overlook the fact that Razorwings are utter crap in close combat so why on earth would you want to charge them in any event? They can also only attack models that can FLY so it's fairly limited even if you go with that take on the rules.

I was specifically referring to kabal obsessions, of course all of the wych cult obsessions are of basically no use to a flier. Only reason you'd take a wych cult razorwing is if you were playing a cult focused army and wanted only 1-2 fliers.
