| Doubt it, cos most of the people complaining are Imperium players from what I've seen on some of the larger forums. They don't care about whether or not AoV is OP, they simply don't like a Xenos army being able to stop them doing something. | |

- Agents of Vect is on par with other big game-changing 3-CP stratagems, but with the caveat that it’s is only ball-breaking if the opponent has a big 3-CP game-changing stratagem they want to use. Usually those are one-trick-pony lists that utterly depend on a single ball-breaking stratagem to win the game, so by merely existing, AoV makes the game better as it discourages that type of list.
Burning 3 CPs for an 83% chance to deny a key re-roll or a counter-attack stratagem is nice, but by no means over the top. I completely agree. I think AoV is great for the game as a whole, it means that building a list and using a point and click stratagem are not the way to win anymore. And I would love for orks to also lack a big gimmick button and instead have something similar to agents of vect. That said yes it can be extremely frustrating to play against, expecially now it is reasonably easy to get a lot of command points for most armies. I think one of the problems right now is that AoV is in our army and no one else has anything similar. This means that people refuse to deal with it and consider it OP instead. If a few armies have it people realise that you cannot just build your army around 1 stratagem.

| AoV is great but to say it helps the game is delusional. It will either be restricted in use of increased to a 4pt strategem. | |

| Discussions like this don't happen on other forums because Imperial and Eldar players know when they have an ace in the hole the thing to do is not complain about it. | |

- People complaining about AoV and DE in general being OP are gonna be SO mad when they find out about Knights.
Haha, I play IG, Drukhari (Harlie allies coming soon) and Knights in 40K, so I’ve heard all the complaints and all the tears from every angle. I can’t want for Chapter Approved to lower to costs on my Cerastus frames. Hopefully they don’t hit Drukhari too hard during that same update, because no one will have the time to complain about evil elves while being corn-holed by Lancers and Acherons. - Elfric wrote:

You’re delusional if you don’t think the existence of AoV does not curb one-trick pony lists in competitive play. If it is restricted, it will be to once per player turn, which is a negligible change because AoV does most of its work by existing rather than by being used.

| I haven’t used AoV yet simply because I find the other kabals more interesting.
However I do like that AoV exists. My opponents should start the game with fear in their heart.
