| Are our Flyers Valid targets for Screaming Jets? Or do they just fall out of the sky because they haven't made their minimum move? | |

| I would think that they fall out of the sky. They must move a minimum distance. Deepstriking does not move the model that distance.

| I might be mistaken, but I thought there was an FAQ out there that said models arriving from deepstrike are considered to have moved their maximum distance | |

in the brb its stated that models arriving from reserve count as having moved just fire and fade doesnt work imo

| IT may count as movement, but does it count as ENOUGH movement? I believe that is the question. | |

| In previous editions they counted as having moved at combat speed, which was sufficient to cover the minimum move they needed to make. Logically (yes, I know...) there shouldn't be an issue as the planes don't just appear in that spot, they are zooming in at incredible speed. | |

| The rule says that in the Movement phase, all parts of the model’s base must end the move at least that far from where they started. If they DS that's definitely true. | |

| But that has 0 bearing on the question at hand: Is that indeterminate distance inherently greater than or less than the minimum movement distance requirement all, or maybe just nearly all, flyers have? | |

| The rule says that "when a model moves" all of its parts must move the minimum distance. But a model that deepstrikes just counts as being moved, but did not really perform a movement. | |

| I recall there was an FAQ entry that described this situation and said you crash and burn, but wasn't able to find it. However, it might have related to fire and fade instead. | |

| See, I recall there was an FAQ that when you deep strike you always count as having moved your maximum movement distance but I can't find that either. | |

I know the one with fire and fade causing you to crash and burn.
