Local Tournament List 1750 pts

Hi guys. This saturday I'm participating in a small tournament at my FLGS and we're going to play at an unusual point level 1750 pts (we pretty my always play at 2000) and I'm trying to trim some fat from my list but I'm torn between 2 options and would like to get your feedbacks.

This version has one less RWJF and 4 less Grots. It allows me to keep a flyer, which I find usefull to back my ravagers and that I use for character snipping against careless opponents.

This one trades the flyer and the whip on the haemonculus against 4 more grots.


In option 1 I fear that my grot unit is too small to be really threatening but in option 2 I lose the flexibility from my RWJF who also draw a decent amount of fire away from the ravagers... What do you think?

So far I expect to face the new Orks, Harlequins, Imperial Guards, Imperial Knights, Necrons and Space Marines. The tournament has been announced as having mysterious rules that are going to give an advantage to mono-codex armies so I don't expect much soup.

I think the rwjfs, as awesome as they are, are too fast for your list. If they're the only thing in range of 24 inch guns they'll eat ALL of the 24 inch bullets. Maybe reserve some mandrakes until you're in the enemy's face or add some wracks and use black cornucopians.

I think this is EXACTLY the kind of army you run BH ravagers with! You can't target the archon without letting covens roam free. That's the strength of this list.

No CWE HQ's? You going easy on them.

I would run an ally JUST BECAUSE the tournament is throwing the bait. Think about it...you don't know what the incentive is. As such, NOBODY can build around this mystery incentive. The most likely outcome is that the incentive will not be fully maximized by your opponents, and they will find themselves lacking many things that they wish they had. It could be something as simple as extra CP. DON'T TAKE THE BAIT!
