1250 Pts Drukhari Ars Bellica List

i will take part in a regional tournament next week. Rules are Ars Bellica. So army lists are restricted. Never played the type before so maybe i could get some feedback to my list.

The restrictions are:

- max 1250 pts.
- battleforged army
- only one detachement and 1 fraction
- no unit twice in HQ/Fast Attack/Elite/Heavy Support and Flyer
- no Lord of War
- max 3 times the same standard unit
- max 2 times each transport
- max 90 models per list
- no forgeworld models with over 350 pts. allowed

1250 Pts on Point. I think its an allround list with allot 4+ wound rolls vs infantry and allot of blaster shots vs vehicles. But this list is lacking in CP!!! Only 3 CP even with black heart kabal cult is much to less

For a Batallion i have to play drazar whats a waste of 120 pts...

Any advices or other good ars lists?

seems like the rules are structured as a huge frak you to drukhari.
with cult or coven you would at least have benefits of a good character plus the reg HQs and limiting you to one detachment is really limiting what you can take.

i mean you could just mix then but your giving up obsessions.

I've not heard of this format before but I would opt for coven meat mountain if I were to enter it.

Deepstrike the grots turn 2 (or run them up the board) haemonculi on foot or in the raider if you use the 10 man squad to screen and just be generally too tough for people to handle.

Ouch! That only one of each HQ really hurts DE. I don't dislike it as a rule in general, but just wish GW would give us some more cheap hqs for each sub-faction. But I digress. I like the OPs original list, but for me I would want a few more cp, and would bite the bullet and get Drazar to make that battalion. Maybe by dropping those trueborn and slimming some points from the scourges by swapping out the blasters for some cheaper options.

I think that either option is good and agree with Serpent Fly if you want to do Kabal list.

Swap the blasters on the Scourge for haywire blaster. That gets you 36 points

Drop the trueborn. That gives you 72 points

You then need 12 more points for Drazhar. You either need to drop a blaster from one of you Kabalite squads, or drop one of splinter cannons on the venoms down to splinter rifles, or one of the splinter racks on the raiders and then drop the 2 shock prows.

This gives you +5 CP which will be huge.

Alternatively, Gizmaluke's list is solid if you're good to go with Coven.
