Has anyone had any success with using Kabal units in melee, outside of just Archons and their Court?

I know it's probably a lost cause but I thought I'd ask on the off chance.

I think the closest you can get is giving your Sybarites agonisers. I'd propose raiders with two units of five, and an assault weapon of your choice.
This is of course speculatory because no one has done it ever, as far as I'm aware.

It's definitely a lost cause and there's really no way to make it work. Court and archons are the only melee capable Kabal units, and they're not even very good at it.

There's really no reason to try it other than wanting to play with a handicap against lesser competition.

If you did want to give it a shot, I think Black Heart would be an absolute must. That way, your kabalites are at least hitting on a 2+ on turn 2.

Well.....I used Rose Trueborn with 4 Shredders. I haven't assault anything with them, but the exploit of 10 attacks per squad is something that I always keep in consideration when I play them

Deepstrike 2 squads of 20 kabalites turn 2 for the charge, put the fear into them as they wont know what is going on

Poison tongue gets rerolls of 1 to wound in melee
It does work on court models too so there's that. I have used 3 sslyth before like this in a venom with an archon, in a friendly game. It worked okay, but the biggest problem is you have 3 separate units to charge who don't benefit from power from pain and so cant reroll charges.
Or just take mercenaries, Incubi or mandrakes, if you just don't want to use cult or kabal.
