Wanted to get some thoughts / rules clarification on this thing because it seems like an absolute mess. Its slightly to expensive but i think it could work in some armies. (maybe less so for the Drukari however)

1) Can this thing even be used out side of narrative...? its 24x24 so  i don't see anyway it can actually be deployed full in your deployment zone...

2) is it even worth it? at 700ps yes you can technically put out 24d6 damage a turn on knights but i would love to know the actual math's on what it will realistically do.

3) does the whole board count as the unit? if so can you disembark out of it 27inch away from your board edge turn one?

4) if you put a unit it it would this give you a 48inch square box of deep strike screening?

5) due to GW's spelling errors would this actually still be 300 points?

6) can units even walk over the top of this? you cant put units on top of a tank?

Thanks in advance because i really have no idea what is going on with this thing...

It is meant to be played on the GW/FW battlefield terrain tiles and it is meant to replace a title, the actual unit is the bunker/walls, so there are no rules for placement on normal terrain. See link > https://www.forgeworld.co.uk/en-US/Realm-of-Battle-Industrial-Sector

Its up to you, your opponent and the TO. For friendly games for sure i would allow it, but it would have to be on a section of the map that best fits best in your DZ.

It is 300pts base with 1 gun, but remember its only 20 wounds with a 3+/5++, its weaker than a knight, and it will die faster than one too. If you are fighting knights its almost pointless if you go 2nd and it costs as much as a knight (400pts B.c you'll buy the other anti-tank gun).

IDK what you are reading, but its 4D3 shots base, tho it is S16 -4 2D6 6's deal addition D3 MW's, and that is why ll Knights will shoot it and kill it, Hitting on 3+ and wounding on 2+ for 2D6 damage will hurt them badly.

But if you wanted to try it out, go for it.

Technically speaking it wouldn;t be useable in most Matched games, because it can't be deployed.
It would pretty much only be useable in very casual games with friends who allow it, or in Narrative games.

The problem is, the big slab it is on, isnt technically "the model" but b.c FW stop making rules for their version of 40k with tiles, now the tiles are just terrain table tops. Its really in limbo, its legal to play and place, but the rules are also "missing" saying its meant for the war zone tiles tables or w/e it was called.

Players, TO's, and locals have no idea it used to be a set of rules before and why its on a tile, and dont understand the tile isnt the model and players where allowed to spawn out tiles for their terrain when you bought that fortification.

FW really needs to put out a faq for them, as this is not the only one with rules.
