| Has anyone tried a list like this recently? in 7th ed. i know many people played DE with venom and raider spam. i think wound per point k-warriors in raiders are best to wound in poisoned tongue with splinter racks i think pushes it over the top. Lances used to be top dog but i guess Disintergrator Cannons now are. also with a black heart kabal with archon re rolling wounds near by and 6 up feel no pain on our stiff cardboard boats help get you 17 lance shots or 51 Disintergrator Cannons and a special missile. it seems like a basic list that should clean up.
ex list 1x (2x archon with huskblade in venom w/ dual cannon) 6x (10x k- warriors in raiders with splinter racks)
1x archon labyrnthine cunning and writ of the living muse 3x ravager 1x razorwing jet fighter w/ splinter cannon
72 shots or 144 at close range shots , 17 dark lance shots or 51 Disintergrator Cannons shots
I have been out a while and please catch me up why these lists are not showing up (or maybe i missed em).Is this a "good" list?

| The problem there is that poison isn't amazing. Sure, it's consistent, but it's a lot of investment for little reward.
In addition, the black heart archon's buff doesn't extend to the kabs inside the raiders. Splinter racks are extremely point inefficient. It won't even affect the raiders unless they're also black heart.

| Poison is half of our fighting ability. If its not good what do other people do? | |

| Also how are racks inefficient? 10 points to generate 2 extra hits on 6's. If the raider had 6 people in it for 10 points you would on average generate 2 extra hits. Making it what i would think as the most efficient way of building em. Venoms get the -1 to hit. Raiders have litle more health. | |

| Sorry for triple post i re did math. And found my error. And your right its not cost efficient. I feel like a moron for not seeing that before posting. Is there a general rule for disies ? How many per 2k army or 1750? | |

The rule is "fill as much as you can" But the bare minimum is 9 (3 ravagers). You should add some more, though.

Keep in mind it also depend on your other anti-tank options. If you use haywire scourges or haywire talos, you can focus your disintegrators on what they should do in the first place : hunt elite infantry.

| Try the same with Dark Technomancers+Master Mutagens, and exchange Kabals for Wracks w/Ossefactor, and Raiders for Venoms w/doublecannon | |

I'm not sure about that. while DT venom is a solid choice, I tend to like DT raiders. D3 disintegrators that wound most tank on 4+ is good.

| replacing archon with hemi and k-warriors with wracks in venoms is 48 or 96 poison shots at close range. razorwing will get you 3-6 more with out the trait. 11 dissi shots, 8 hex shots, 6 osses fro the same points at 1750 (theres about 20-30 left over) whats everyone else think? | |

I honestly feel that while DT is ostensibly fun and can get you a tonne of value, it still doesn't give you any AP and most of your shooting is a single shot here or there, so a lot of poison shots will just bounce off enemies. Not to mention, each Venom can potentially lose up to two wounds per shooting phase. If you want to go DT, I recommend focusing on spamming Cronos, Dissie Raiders and Reapers, and spend spare points on Hexrifles. Cronos with DT are really interesting to me as that trait solves so many of their issues and they're cheap as chips. If you're inclined to add Talos (which single handedly fix your horde match up and add Haywire), then you can also make them DT for better Haywire. However in my opinion, you should strongly consider going Artists of the Flesh. I think that's the real hidden gem of our PA rules, especially for Talos. They become infuriatingly durable, and at the same time it also helps make your vehicle swarm an absolute nightmare to handle. Venoms laughing off Avenger Gatling Cannons and Autocannon shots is a wonderful thing. If you were ever thinking about going gunboat or Monster spam, Artists of the Flesh is the way to do it. A huge block of Talos supported by Raiders and/or Venoms all with -1 damage and +1 Toughness from your Haemonculi aura... Oh it's fantastic fun.

| so after reading and listening to advice i choose to go a separate path at least for the moment i do like atrists of flesh so maybe this list needs changed to add talos and a some different models Artists of the Flesh seems like it could be very good. alliance of agony seems way to good to pass up. Are grots good in this edition? Prophets of flesh giving a 4++ seems very good as well. What about jet bikes with slashing impact? seems like it could help take down some stuff

| The list I'm running at the moment features both a Prophets of Flesh Battalion for Wracks and access to Vexator Mask, and an Artists of the Flesh Spearhead for 8 Talos.
Prophets is much better for Wracks, but Artists is generally better for Talos, Grotesques, Haemonculi (though not having Vexator Mask does hurt) as well as any vehicles you bring.
