2 Raider? I would swap out a Talos and a Chronos for 2 more Boats.
And maybe the Ossefactors for Hexrifles or additional Raider Upgrades.

maybe 1 more boat at most. Also the Ossefactors are assault so you can advance a squad shoot then "fire and fade" (or whatever it is called now) if necessary. Remember movement is the most important part of the game. If i were to cut anything for 1 more raider it would be a scourge squad and cronos upgrades.

I run only 3 Raiders to good effect at 2k. Granted, I run 2 Reapers along with them, so it stretches people's fire support a little more. But honestly, I think spamming Raiders is kind of a bad idea right now. Everyone and their mother is teching their lists to kill Raiders. Taking more Raiders just means they'll get more value out of the tech they put in their list.

It also makes target prioritization extremely easy for your opponent. They have no hard choices when every target is just a boat carrying efficient combat units. Shoot the most immediate threat, and work your way back. There's nothing to think about. In my list, for instance, people have to choose between killing Raiders or Reapers. It takes the same tools, so the choice is theirs. Do you kill the boat ferrying combat threats into your lines? Or do you kill the thing that's going to sit 36" away and blast the crap out of your army? Not always an easy question to answer.

Having only 3 Raiders can be a risk, but if you force them to deal with other threats too, then you can punish them if they decide to go after the raider anyway.

I wouldnt call 4 boats per 2k pts Raider spam. I just think, the mobility is very useful.

How "Competitive" are you trying to make the list?

From a Casual stand point I think you are covering most bases. You got lots of VP scoring with 2x Mandrakes and 2x Scourges. You are minimizing giving up VPs to Bring It Down and Assassinate.

Decent Hoard clearing with the Wyches and Scourges (maybe a little light).

Dont think you have a lot of Anti Tank. Talos BS4 hurts a bit, and expecting those badboys to get into combat isnt the best assumption (but certainly possible depending on terrain and opponent skill).

My main comment is the 3x Chronos isnt the most competitive option (outside the Dark Technomancer Coven, where these monstrosities really shine).

Also taking two Haemonculi is a lot of tax (Draz is SOOOO good), but I see that they both have a use, so you do you.

If I were to make a casual list out of this skeleton, I would drop the Chronos, put in a Void Raven Bomber/Reaper (for MWs and Anti Tank) and switch the Coven Of 12 Haemi to Draz. Maybe find a few points for more Wyches.

1. Very, I am trying to make a list that will combat Lennon's Sisters list as well as the new post FAQ Mechanicus, plus some Psychic future proofing. Thousand Sons and Grey Knights will be a thing. Remember to add the Cronos to the list of hoard clearing options. Honestly I think the Cronos is way to undervalued in general. Actually, Ironically after I posted this list here I saw that Skari crushed a local RTT with the same 3 talos 3 cronos setup in his list, but to be fair I don't know what obsession he was running.

2. I am from the Rogue Trader days mid late 80's and have played all of the pointy eared factions since their initial release. Crap that means I might have been playing longer than Brad Chester.

He was running Dark Techno for the flamer bomb, backed up by double Void Raven for those Mortal Wounds. Hes been running a similar list for a while now.

If your going hyper competitive, you will want to change out the Coven of 12 to DT, and move the Chronos over there.

The Talos are REALLY squishy these days, I dont think they really have a place in Competitive right now (MAYBE as AotF for the -1 damage, but I dont think its worth giving up PoF for).

The Void Raven build kinda needs to be Poison Tongue so you can re-deploy the flyers (many eggs in that basket), and it forces the enemy to spread out to avoid those bombs (making it easier for you to pick off isolated parts of their army).

If you do end up going DT for the Chronos, you could do worse than throwing some Ossifactors into the Wrack squads (and maybe a Reaper).

For sure you need Draz in there instead of the second Haemi.
