A kill-team squad of Corsairs was just shown on Warhammer Community. I count 10 models, and they got me super hyped! They are all wielding different weapons though, and I'm wondering how that would work in a normal game of 40k. Thoughts?

My best guess is that their rules will be like the Elucidian Starstriders - a set rule for one unit with specific equipment.
In a perfect world, I would hope for options to take models from any Eldar unit, and assemble them like a Deathwatch Kill Team.

If it's anything like the Death Korps of Krieg KT models, you'll be able to build them as a regular squad of Corsairs, and all the specialist parts for KT will be on a separate sprue.
That's the hope, anyway.

According to some rumor leaks, the corsairs have both Asuryani and Drukhari keywords. So you'll be able to stick them in a raider/venom.

They look definetly more like DE, than Craftworlds. I mean it`s kinda hard to blend three different eldar arhitypes and make entirely new one. Or maybe it`s just their painting scheme... Anyway, i`ll probably gonna get mine as soon as they will came out. I`m really interested in possibility of creation entire corsair detachment in new Eldar codex. Mixing different types of infantry to create this kind of 'spec ops' is kinda cool. I hope their rules will be more or less good.

Simply because of the "Rule of Cool", I want to try the elite version of them. I'm somewhat disappointed that the troop version is definitely not usable as a replacement for Kabalites, because honestly I find those boring, and only ever use them to fill mandatory troop slots in Kabal detachments.

The thing that these guys can stay into a Raider makes me happy. So finally we have some interesting gunboats to fly, other than Trueborns.

1 unit of the Elite version with a Way Seeker will be in every single one of my lists. Cannot perils and a Deny roll without having to take the Helm of Spite is golden against the new Psychic secondary. Plus they can comfortably ride on a Raider.
Not sure on their specific loadouts but I doubt anything except the shuriken rifles and the wraith cannon will be worth it. Imo, in a standard Drukhari list we'd run 1 unit of 5 Shuri Rifles+Way Seeker, or a full 10 man with shuris, Ignore cover, Wraith cannon + 1 way seeker all in a Raider.
It's a shame they don't count towards mandatory slots, or I'd be running 1 troop and 1 elite unit instead. They're definitely more useful as a lone wolf unit in a Drukhari list than they are in an Eldar list. Mostly cause we have trash <Core> buffs anyway.
Edit: On second thought, I may have found a build to replace Incubi and Trueborn in a single unit. We'll see how it performs once the codex drops.

Ok so it looks like we now have 2 ways to include some form of psychic phase into a Druhkari army ... but honestly I would want these models to proxy in as pirate themed kabalites or wyches ... it seems the rumored "year of the eldar" has finally shown up, only thing that would make it complete is if somewhere in this set of campaign books Druhkari get one/two new units and our lord of War
