Indeed. I also had to double-check everything to see they were not kidding.

I'm mostly surprised that they are integrated into 40k proper. I really would have expected a Kill Team release. I just hope this doesn't needlessly complicate the balance of 40k too much.

Never said it isn't. But it can always get worse, even needlessly so.

If this game had any chance for a balance, they seriously need to stop "write all the codices at the same time" but then release them one by one and, for some strange reason, (knowing that they've all been written at the same time), every abilities and stats are more and more over the top.........

If someone really wish for a real balance, they seriously need to release all their codices at the same time and then just do some balance dataslate when the needs rise.

And then, marketing wise, just release new models along the lifespam of the edition (a new datasheet would'nt hurt since we are already used to buy a 60$ book that becomes useless the next month since there are already lot of FAQ and nerfs/upgrade, so we already go to our games with our Codex, 3 other books and some sheets).....but well.....maybe i don't have the big picture here :/

Give them time ... we've only seen the stats of the very basic troops ... we don't know what rules and weapons they have so there is still plenty of time for their busted nonsense to surface

I predict a savethrow. 5++ is my guess. And some mean transportation, given their poor movement.

well, if they'Re 10pts or less instead of 21 as SM are, anytime i'll take this budget
also, knowing their lore is that their technology is borderline heretic in comparison to the Imperium, just you wait to see their weaponry!

They've already mentioned in the warcom that they have intact STCs, albeit slow or glitchy, so very interested in how far they're going to take some of that
