I am looking to add some serious killing power to my 1500pt list. I would like to make it more competitive but I am unsure of what to add. All the games I have played so far have been extremely close games with only a few models left on the board from both sides. (this has been against chaos Space marines and Space wolves so far.)
Also I haven't seen much Mech heavy lists yet ether.

here is the list so far with 98pts to spare.

No he's part of the wwp drop squad. Hes there to get the first strike in and kill any power weapon users.

So all you're bringing out of the portal is the Wracks and the RJBs?

Basically if you drop both WWPs and use the extra points you could give the Wracks Raiders, and have a faster army with more anti tank and would still have leftover points.

What's the naked Haem doing? If you sack him too that gives you over 200 points which could easily afford transports and other toys. I mostly just don't see much of a reason for this army to have a WWP element since it lacks any real need for it.

Yea the wracks and rjb come out of the wwp i did use some wyches but they have been kind of underperforming for me.

I chose to use a wwp to throw my opponent off guard and also it was something diffrent. (Also to save some money). The naked hamie is a typo.

There is no reason in this list to use WWP's, there just isn't enough coming through them to justify taking them. It's difficult to know what to change, but I reckon dropping the archon and some bikes along with the left over points to get 2 squads of AT scourges coming out the portal, might be one way forward.

It's also debatable whether the portal throws people off guard these days, it's a pretty well known may of playing DE. For that reason if your going to use one then you have to really commit to using it, bringing as much as possible through it whilst still maintaining a solid AT firebase. I've found it pretty difficult to achieve that balance so far and generally avoid WWP armies for that reason.

*10x Wracks 1x Liquifier Gun, Acothyst w/ Scissorhand

*9x Reaver Jetbikes 3x Cluster Catrops, 3x Heat lances

2x Ravagers w/ FF
*Pain Engine w/ additional Close Combat Weapon, Chain Flails, Twin-Linked Haywire Blaster

* Comes out of WWP

Edit: before I forget the blasterborn in the venom escorting the Hamies don't get out of the venom just the hamies get out to drop the portal then get back in to go kill things.
