Very WIP at the moment so hard to comment, however I think you're on to a good thing.

What head will you be going for?

I'm leaning towards using the bald Raider pilot head with the pony tail from the Scourge solarite helmet on the back of his head. Kinda like a crazy Kung Fu monk. We'll see. I want to put bigger blades on the board, figure out the right arm, blah blah blah. Won't have time to do any real work on him for a couple of weeks after I finish converting my Grotesques.

Figured the skyboard out. Tomorrow morning I will add spiky what-nots, bigger splinter pod barrels, and figure out what to use for the left arm after the greenstuff cures. Base this bad boy and primer....time to get this guy done!

Gotta get some sleep now. Spiky accessories to be added in the morning/basing/primer!

Wonderful pose ESE, everything's going in the same direction very nicely! The pimped board looks great too.

Maybe a bigger base - 40mm?

I think that it might need a 40mm base as the board is so big. We'll see in the morning after I get a crack at it.

Had a bit of time between lesson planning and the SJ Sharks game on TV(damn they sucked tonight) to put a little more paint on the Baron:
