Hmmm, there is a certain menace with this figure. Kind of like Darth Vader who just walks in calm and can be and knows he is going to kill everyone who gets in his way and there is nothing they can do about it.

Looking forward to seeing this one painted!

Latest thing of note he did was wipe out a grey hunter squad that was 5 man strong in one swing.

A wip shot for the archon. Still figuring out the base colours. Grey areas will be white.

Great looking model and looking forward to see the dark eldar rocking the white :p

Small upgrade on the Archon, a better picture this time. I like how he is progressing although I am taking my sweet time with him, I should be done in a few more sessions:

Brilliant, great work so far! His cape and armour are very nicely done. The only things I can see still, and I am sure you are already aware of them, are some washes or shading on the pistol and the aggie? Oh, and the silver on the chain hanging from his hip.

Thanks all . Yeah, there is a basic layering/blending on the pistol and agon. Still got a few more layers and washes. The silver chain is actually grey (I am not using any metallic paints on any of my DE)

Skari that is some amazing painting right there, the white really pops brilliantly. Looking forward to seeing this finished =]

how do you do the wet blending? only with water? or do you use some blending medium, retarder or something? because it looks absolutely smooth.
