Hello pain mongers

Hey everyone just wanted to say hi. I am new to DE and 40k so any help u guys can give is always appreciated. I have played at least a dozen games vs my friend who is a long time GK player and happy to say I only lost once. He officially hates lances and splintershots now. Well happy slave hunting

LOL u too? As u can tell by my avatar I have a soft spot in my heart for the hellions. I also think the covens are prob the coolest models in all of 40k lol

I'm just getting around to doing some Hellions. I've been on a Coven quick for a while too. Didn't actually like the Wrack models until I painted them. They are some of my favorites from the range, though it seems that whatever I'm painting at the moment always seems to be my favorite models from the range...

My favorites right now are grotesques. Been trying to make a deathstar out of them for a while now. I just feel like if u drop 4 of these bad boys with 1 or 2 ics in someones lap its gonna be a bad day. But my main list is based around the baron and the hellions

No doubt. I'm working on painting my 4 man Grotesque unit with Archon (PGL, Agonizer, combat drugs, clone field). It really is a nice, mindless unit that you can charge into just about anything and have fun. The coven stuff suits my painting and playing style more, but I am doing a Baron list for the Archon Painting Challenge on this site. Hellions take a little more tactical cunning than I might be used to, but are certainly fun to play, and beautiful to paint.

I have 1 actual Grotesque and I am going to use Rate ogres with Talos heads and bits to make my other 6.LOL than i just need 1 more actual grotesque and I will be set lol.

I am actually trying to get all my vehicles painted (it would prob help if I would stop buying vehicles) Right now I have 1 98% done venom 1 75% done venom 1 50% done raider and 2 ravagers and a razorwing that I haven't even started painting yet.
