2K Tournament List

Hi guys,

So my recent discussions have been about MSU Venom Wracks but unfortunately I won't have the coin to buy all the models to make it happen for the upcoming tournaments happening in Feb and March, sooooooo I've had to come up with a list based on what I already have. Anything I should change to make it tournament ready?

HQ:
Succubus, Agoniser, HWG
Archon, Agoniser, Shadowfield, Drugs, PGL

Elites:
6 Incubi in Raider (Archon here)
5 Trueborn, 4 Blasters in Venom
5 Trueborn, 4 Blasters in Venom

Troops:
9 Wyches, Hekatrix w/ Agoniser, HWG, Shardnet/Impaler in Raider, NS (Succubus here)
10 Wyches, Hekatrix w/ Agoniser, HWG, Shardnet/Impaler in Raider, NS
5 Warriors w/ 1 Blaster in Venom
5 Warriors w/ 1 Blaster in Venom

Fast Attack:
6 Reavers, 2 Heat Lances

Heavy Support:
Ravager, 3 Dark Lances, Flickerfields
Ravager, 3 Dark Lances, Flickerfields
Razorwing Jeftighter, Dissies, 4x Mono's, FF

Hey.

There are several things ub tge list that are far from optimal. To begin with the Succubus really has no place in the list. If you want to go with another character then the Haemonculus is your choice. The succubus really doesnt bring anything exept being a little more killy.

The second thing is you are far to light on troops. Dark Eldar is a glas cannon as we all know. We also don't have that resilliant troops. So therefor we need to invest in maximum troops before we start to toy around with other tasty stuff. Mainly i feel that you are to heavy on the Elite choice, there are points to be saved there.

You could begin with listing what models you have avaible since i understand this can be a issue.

But my initial thoughts would be to drop 1-2 incubis, 1-2 trueborns from each unit, the succubus and maybe reavers aswell. On top of this i would look to drop the shardnet of the 9 men strong wych squad and bring 2 on the 2 men strong. This way you make that unit into a real tar pit.

With the saved up points from all that you could invest in more troops. This would be better for you in general.

So I own everything in the list EXCEPT 6 Reavers & the Archon.


So what I could do is lose 1 Incubi, 2 (naked) TB's, 3 Wyches (bringing both to 8 strong) and the Succubus to then take a Haemie and another 5 man Warr/Blaster in Venom.

Would we rock the Haemie with the Incubi squad - flipping da pill, for them to clean up and gain FC by T2? In theory, I like....

So going ahead, I'd have to add a Venom to the list of things to buy.
