2k tournament list

I have a local tournament coming up in December, and I want to make a good showing. I think this list should be strong against most. Please let me know what you think...especially about which armies/lists you think I'd be particularly weak against. Thanks in advance!

Haem - VB, LG, SS

4x Blasterborn
Venom (all Venoms have the second cannon)

10x Warriors, SC
Raider - Dissie, racks, FF
(Duke starts here)

8x Wyches - Hek, VB, PGL
Raider - Dissie, FF
(Duke and Haem)

5x Warriors
Venom

5x Wyches - Hek, VB, PGL
Venom

3x Wracks
Venom
(deploy separately, wracks gtg on objective, Venom plays cheap AI and cover or else Deepstrikes)

2x 9x Reavers - 3x HLs

2x DL Ravagers - NS

VRB - FF, 2x SF missiles
(deepstrikes)

Everything looks good save for the three random venoms: one is full of unupgraded Warriors (no Blaster at least?), one is full of strangely upgraded wyches (no HWG?), and one is full of a very very small unit of Wracks (are you putting the Haemy with that?). I am just curious as to what their roles are and if it would be possible to mainstream them a bit more?

He doesn't HAVE to take a Blaster with his Warriors or Haywire Grenades with his Wyches. Maybe he doesn't want those units to play that role.
3 Wracks is the cheapest way to unlock a Venom. Haemie goes with 8 Wyches, as stated in army list.

I second Damnosus. Additionally, a Liquifier and SS on the Haemi might not be that efficient. May want to put a champ in the Reavers. Nothing sucks more than failing a morale check and losing jink the following turn. Other than that, great list.

I don't have the codex with me, but I think the duke has to start with a group of warriors or trueborn. Not sure if he is allowed to start with the wyches. Also I think the pgl on the 5 wych squad is a waste. Maybe think about arena champs leading your reavers for the extra leadership. GL in the tournament.

Edit: disregard duke starting with wyches he is starting with warriors.

Of course he doesn't HAVE to do anything, but without the upgrades I mentioned above, their roles are less clear, thus my second question as to what he plans to do with them. If this were a casual list I wouldn't have questioned such decisions, however, as it is a tournament list, I was just looking for explanations as to why Tony has decided against going with what is generally seen as proven methods. No need to get snippy.

Sorry for the mistake. All wyches have HWG as well. Hehe, I don't think I ever run them without, so forgot to even bother to type it.

The wracks exist to sit on the objective and to unlock another Venom cheaply (as 1++ mentioned).

The warriors in the Venom are simply AI that should be low enough priority for the opponent that they should still be around to claim objectives late in the game.

If I take arena champs then I'm going to take VBs on them and consider assault. As it stands, if they get into CC then I've already done something wrong. I'm not going to pay for just another point of LD. Hubris? Maybe. Only time will tell. But I don't plan on it for now.

Thanks for the suggestions so far. Any ideas about lists I should watch out for and how I might consider countering them if they do show up? Aside from Necron flying circus, of course. Not a whole lot to be done about that with this list aside from hope for a bunch of 6s.

The LG and SS on the Haem are for when he breaks from the unit. He splits off when they disembark, heading to one side of the target unit while Duke and his girls head for the other side. Haem sprays the target and then charges in, hopefully nullifying Overwatch one way or the other. If he does manage to kill with his LG or SS, he won't reduce the charge distance of the bulk of the unit, who also get to use their Fleet since the Haem goes alone (leaving his token, of course).
