Dark Eldar 1200 Points

Hey everyone, first time poster here. Been out of 40k for a while and looking to get back into it with a fresh new army, so thought I'd try with Dark Eldar.

I want to build an army at 1200 points as this is the regular size game in my group, and I've come up with a list that could use some critique. I want it so be competitive without spending a huge amount of cash so I'd rather not venom spam with heaps of wracks.

With that in mind heres the list:

Comes up to 1196 Points. If I can give one Wych in each squad Haywire Grenades I would use up the last 4 points, but I don't think I can. Duke goes in the 9 man squad of warriors.

I like the Duke, for 150 points you get a useful character. He helps out the Wyches with Contraband, and also makes a unit of Kabalites slightly more shooty. He also lets me deep strike my whole army which gives another tactical element (although I don't know how useful it would be but the option is good).

So in total I have:
40 infantry
6 Vehicles
12 Darklight Weapons (13 if you include the Dukes Blast Pistol)
4 scoring units

I was thinking about swapping the 10 man squad of Kabalites for 2 Venom Squads but I'd have to trim some points elsewhere. I was also thinking about swapping 1 squad of Wyches with some Reavers w/ heat lances.

I've yet to battle with this list but I will proxy it tomorrow to see how it goes. Any comments/critiques would be really helpful. Thanks in advance.

I think the list is good. Lots of troops and a fair spattering of AT and AI.

However, I wonder why you have a sybarite in a shooty warrior squad? If it is for assault defence, he won't be enough on his own. For leadership? I would drop him and his venom blade and invest in something useful..perhaps shock prows on the wych raiders or something.. even a splinter rack would be more useful in their unit than the sybarite in my view.

I'd change Sliscus boat for venom with Splinter Cannon/ShardCarbine Trueborns.
Thats cheaper and killier and have more range.

The Sybarite + Venom Blade is there cause I had extra points and didn't know what to do with them. I'll swap it out with a vehicle upgrade for their Raider.

I'm not sure how swapping out the Sliscus boat for a venom will help me. What could I do with the extra points? There isn't really a lot I can add to the list if I make that change. I'll also have one less troops choice so I don't know how much the extra firepower will really help me out. It also slightly (but nevertheless) decreases my anti-tank ability.

Comes up to 1196

Basically I swapped out a raider and some wych weapons for two venoms and split the 10 man squad of warriors into two 5 man squads. It gives me one less dark lance (swapped out for a blaster) but much more anti-infantry power (everyone knows how effective venoms are). I think the best part is it gives me an extra scoring unit, this particularly helped me out in a game with 5 objectives.

I would still like to know what the Dark City thinks of the list, and would appreciate any more comments.
